The best baked goods in central MA! Super fresh, and delicious. The cookies had crispy edges and a soft baked center… perfection. Everything is thoughtfully and freshly made. Don’t bother going anywhere else, they won’t compare. I’d add pictures but there are no leftovers!

Needed something quick in this new area I traveled to. The staff is super kind, and the spinach feta focaccia was amazing and warm. Delish! I could not wait, as I got into the car I was pulling it apart to eat some.

I ordered my daughter's wedding cake there and it was an amazing experience
It's a charming, little shop. Go in, order, leave, though if you are indecisive or have kids, it's best to let others go first. Prices are reasonable for a local place. They know their regulars. Day-olds are always great.

Darby's is a gem. I found them because I needed a beautiful, yet reasonable wedding cake. When I got around to trying everything, I'm hooked. I love that they even make and freeze homemade gourmet pasta and ravioli, such a great thing to have on hand for the weekend!

Darby's Bakery do not use preservatives or additives. They offer a good variety of baked goods, coffee and more. Their bread is of good quality. The establishment is kept very clean, service is fast and efficient. Recommended.

I only did 4 stars because, although their baked goods are yummy, they have what is labeled as "Sun tea". It's NOT! The young woman working didn't even know what Sun tea is. Theirs is a mix with sugar and who knows what other unclean ingredients. Sun tea is tea brewed in a glass container in the sun. I add raw, usually local, honey to mine. I told her they shouldn't call it sun tea. It's deceptive. I'm not likely to go again since all they have are items with tons of sugar. If you like sugar then it's definitely a place you will enjoy!
