Draught House Bar & Grill

The food was excellent, we were both satisfied with what we got. The prices were also good. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. The bartender last night where we were sitting didn’t really pay attention to us. We either had to flag her down, or ask another bartender to help us. She also wasn’t personable either. Other people wanted our seat, but we were still drinking and hadn’t cashed out yet. She kept saying in front of us “when these people leave…” which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Due to it being a busy night and not much room, we had to sit at the bar next to where the drinks were brought out to the rest of the restaurant. There was one server who kept coming to get drinks for people and bumped into my back multiple times. Not a sorry or anything, and one time it was pretty hard that she hit my back. I get it’s a tight space, but have some common decency. Our few experiences with people who worked there wasn’t great. We will be back to try one more time due to the food, but maybe takeout is the better option.

It was odd experience
This place came up at pet friendly place and they have huge patio BUT THEY ARE NOT pet friendly. And the host was not welcoming at all, at first with out even greeting us he said no pet, and I explained my dog is a service animal and I can show her card which he said it is ok, then we ask can we sit outside, he immediately said no, and we agreed to sit inside and he unhappily went to check for table for us and came back and said we can sit outside, 😐😐 could not you check before saying no?!
The food was ok, but after our waitress got our order she left! And others try to cover us.
She also didn’t write down our order and they came back and multiple check each order and at the end brought mixed up orders.
Overall the food was ok, but the rest of the experience wasn’t pleasant

My first time at the Draught House and I was so impressed! The mushroom chicken was delicious, the beer selection was outstanding, and the service was excellent. I especially loved sitting out on the patio and loved the fire table. Very nice atmosphere. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!. Experience here last night. Myself and my wife went for dinner and it was anything but pleasant. We ordered drinks sitting outside it took the server so long we didn’t even get our drinks and got up and went inside that’s first. Secondly we ordered food and not only did it take wayyyyy to long also but then they bring me the wrong food and at that moment I just ate it cause I wasn’t waiting another 45 minutes for food to come out the right way. And after all that they didn’t even offer to discount the check or nothing. No sorry no have a drink on us no nothing!!. Very disappointed with this experience do better and be better maybe I’ll think about coming back again.

Our friends brought us here for dinner while we were down visiting from Maine. This place has a ton of parking, great set up, and nice location. It actually reminded me of Captain Newick’s location back in the day when it was still around. It was kinda nice to see. It was loud and packed inside so we opted to sit out on the back deck which turned out great as no one was out there. We got seated no problem, our waitress was nice, funny and fast. I had the pesto chicken sandwich with a side of coleslaw and my husband had the grilled chicken wrap. Mine came on freshly made focaccia bread which was to die for. The sandwich was huge and I had to take small bites, but the flavors were spot on. Not too much pesto, chicken was cooked perfectly. His wrap was just as good with juicy chicken and fresh veg. I wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw, it was mostly mayo based and I’m more of a vinegar based kinda gal. I like my coleslaw with a bite. Our friend’s dishes looked really good and they had no complaints about their meals as well. I really enjoyed it overall and plan on returning next time we’re down.

This chicken souvlaki was great. Char, spice and tender. The rice and salad were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this meal of food. Priced and portioned perfectly. 😎🥰

Literally so confused because we are locals and come here all the time. For whatever reason today we showed up around 3:30 PM which is typically a slow time and asked to be seated on the porch as it’s a warm fall day - the porch was completely empty as was most of the restaurant. We were told to wait and did wait almost 20 minutes. More couples showed up and asked why they were waiting which is just comical. One couple said they were happy to wait even if they just wait at a table and he said a couple minutes. We told the kid we were leaving and he just said “ok” - no offer to seat us even though we waited twice as long as he said or explanation as to why there’s a wait at an empty restaurant. Honestly, seat people and give them water. Ridiculous.

2020 -Update from 3 years ago. I asked the waitress if the mashed potatoes were instant and she said no, but she told me other people had complained. So I planned to review today, low and behold the same complaint I had 3 years ago. Definitely instant, what a disappointment when you order tenderloin tips at $17.95, which were good. Kids mac n cheese is frozen, also a shame. I feel like the quality is declining.

2024- ordered a hamburger medium rare. came out medium, was dry. Asked for onion, none, asked for mayo, by the time i got it, was finished eating, disappointing, . 2017 - A little disappointed. Mashed Potatoes tasted instant, I was told they weren't. Fried scallops were soggy and warm when I got them. I suspect they sat under the heat lamp. Tenderloin tips were very good. Service a little slow. Will give them another try though. The clam chowder is very good. Overall good value.
