Sorry Gerardo bought your banana pie on 3/30/24 for Easter desert.Not so good,looked good but not good at all.Soured bananas that the kids wouldn't even eat. So we played an expensive game of pie face with your pie.Freshness seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed.

This bakery would be five-stars if not for the staff of local high school girls running the counter. They really seem to feel like they're doing you a favor by even waiting on you. A "take-a-number" system should be established like most busy and respectable bakeries.

I called this morning to ask about selections of cakes. The women (girl) was so rude. This is the second time!! Overrated anyway, and got my cake made fresh from Market 32.

This place is wonderful. Great cakes and pastries, always a kind staff. Everything is delicious! The cakes have become a nice treat to celebrate special occasions, and so far every pastry or cookie we've tried has been a big hit! The lobster tail and cupcake were very tasty. The m&m cookies were a big miss and had an odd and lingering aftertaste. I assume this was some type of baking spice but not a flavor any of my kids or myself were expecting from that type of cookie. They did not get eaten.

I am a long time customer of this bakery and I am more than a little dismayed by the one star review left by one, Jennifer Bond, on February 13, 2024 . I actually think I saw Miss Bond parked in front of Gerardos as I drove through the parking lot at 8:00 that morning hoping that maybe, just maybe, they might be open so I could grab a coffee before hitting the Planet Fitness down the road. I really wasn’t expecting anyone to be there seeing as how they had cancelled schools throughout the state, given all non-essential state employees the day off, and delayed trash pickup by one day, in the city of Worcester, because of the impending storm.Thats why I find it ludicrous that someone would post a 1 star review of a very reputable bakery because they didn’t open on time, in the middle of a Nor’easter , to satisfy her cake cravings…. Shame on you Jennifer

Stopped in for some chocolate covered strawberries and left with so much more! My family loves this bakery and the staff is great. Saw someone leave a review about them being closed during the morning of the snowstorm. Imagine expecting a business to be open during a nor’easter LOL! Everything was closed! Take it from someone who has actually TRIED the food here, Gerardos does it best!!

Was a little disappointed when I arrived at 8am (when it says you’re open) to purchase a few cakes and other goodies for valentines gifts this morning and I sat until 8:15 and No one was there!? Unfortunately I was on a time constraint and couldn’t wait any longer. Maybe one day I’ll be able to taste some of you goodies. I hear they're Delicious.
I love this bakery. We stop in every time we finish hiking at wachusetts mountain. Most saturdays it is very busy and people are all over looking at the desserts in the cases. Staff ask who’s next. But they don’t know who’s next when there’s a lot of people. I’ve been cut several times. So I wait.my suggestion is have service numbers That way you get waited on correctly
