Huge selection of ice cream

Ive been going to Meolas my whole life but will not anymore. Every time I go they mess up my order, dont clean the scoopers, and sit on the freezers. I always order a medium grandma meolas and a small of something else and they end up mixing the sizes. The explanation I get is that Grandma meolas is a softer ice cream but in reality it was just half melted when served to me. Then to rub salt in the wound, there was 4 different ice cream flavors in the cup of Grandmas. There was bright orange, yellow, and mint ice cream. This made the whole cup taste like mint because ofc it was melted.

Ice cream was good bathrooms were bad

They overcharged us by 10 dollars, the workers there look at the cashier and walk away and forget the actual total,telling us a totally different price. They also don’t give receipt so it was difficult to prove it. Also the price listed on the board is not the actual price. They need to update the price.

I've been eating Ice Cream here since I was 5 years old,, it never disappoints me.

I am a loyal customer I go with my family all the time today I went with my mother , sister and my autistic sick brother I ordered a strawberry ice cream and I strawberry cheesecake ice cream and the lady in the window brings me the strawberry ice cream half melted and told me after she served me the ice cream that it was melted I took it because it was for my sick autistic brother who is very picky but my mother didn’t like that the ice cream was melted and went up to a different window and the teenage girl that was there said they couldn’t take it back but that she could get my mom something else and that she was all set then we were sitting down eating ice cream and another worker who said she was a manager but she looked 15 came and harassed us over a $6 I’ve cream saying we had to pay for it upsetting my autistic brother this place is awful and the workers are worse! Don’t ever go to meola’s!

drove and sat in traffic because of what’s happening on I-90 and got there just to see it was closed .. why wouldn’t you update your hours, so disappointing

Why is the posted sign says closes at 9pm but you are already closed at 8pm?

Went tonight to meolas in West Boylston .. they said they were closing at 8:30 (everything says they close @9) so we had to get something simple, no toppings. Insaneeely rude teenage girl at the window. $16 for two small ice creams. Lazy, don’t wanna work, but wanna charge insane prices. Don’t ever write reviews but this was insane, go somewhere else

The manager or the owner seems like is fed up at this point. Used to love Meola’s however won’t go again after our last experience. Stood in the line waiting well before the closing time, reached the window and the girl said we are closed and just shut the window. Went to the next window, they decided to take my order while being very impatient and all this time the owner could be heard just being upset and running around in a hurry to close it. Do yourself a favor and drive to Madulka’s instead which has better ice cream, service and lake view.

Ran by very young teenager’s the wait is incredibly long the ice cream is expensive. I bought 2 pints to go. I got home and one of them was 80% full I believe due to the kid who was scooping. Apparently it was a lot of work.

I’ve always enjoyed the ice cream at Meola’s, which makes it especially disappointing to write this. My boyfriend and I arrived at the shop around 8:20 p.m. last night, only to find the doors locked and the lights off, even though the posted closing time is 9 p.m. We were really looking forward to our treat, and it was frustrating to miss out because of an early closure. There were also two other cars pulling in at the same time only to have to turn away in surprise as well. This was the second time in a week this happened.

I’m not sure if the owner is aware, but I hope this is addressed so other customers don’t have the same experience. The ice cream is great, and we’d love to keep coming back, but only if we can count on the hours being accurate.

NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY and Meola’s Wayside shut their windows at 8:55pm. When right on the sign it says open until 9:00pm. Left about 8 of us standing outside wondering what just happened.
