After a hectic (and a bit stressful) day of looking for a new house, we were calmed by the outstanding food and service at Twelve. We loved the food! Our server, Andrew W, was an excellent steward of our Twelve experience -- highly knowledgeable, engaging, empathetic to our house hunting, and supported by a great team! We look forward to booking our next Twelve experience overlooking the kitchen.

Table Twelve is a very busy place, but they always make me feel welcome and the service is always excellent.

Our waitress was pleasant enough, just sort of seemed like she didn't want to be there. The booth seats are not deep enough, and I"m short. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip as an appetizer, which took a very long time to come out. The waitress explained that it is one of the apps that takes the longest as it is delivered to the restaurant frozen. It definitely did not taste homemade, and wasn't very good. The menu description stated the pita chips were grilled, which is false. Had we enjoyed the appetizer, we would have been more bothered by the fact that the meals arrived almost immediately after the artichoke dip was brought. I would like to say that the burger & parmesan/garlic fries I ordered were delicious.

Great food great service. Large table in our room made it a little loud but otherwise everything was perfect

We went for restaurant week. The food was good, but the service was unfortunately lacking. We waited quite a while after being seated for anyone to greet us, and had to ask for the restaurant week menu since our server only delivered the regular menu. When the food eventually came it was good. Not sure if we'll return soon.

I made a reservation for 5:30 PM, I wanted to be seated in the bar area however I was unsuccessful in trying to do that online. When I got there, the hostess was the nicest person and said in the future, you can call and ask or put a note on your reservation. She sat us in the bar. Our server was exceptional very attentive to our needs and very nice I had the onion soup which was good and we both had the smothered chicken, which was exceptional.

Delicious food, excellent selection of specialty bar drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), great service. Have never had a bad experience here

The service was great! Our waitress was very nice. My fish sandwich was great! My husband's burger was over cooked. Not the waitress's fault. She wrote med-rare but the kitchen cooked well done. We'll go back just don't order burgers.

There were 9 of us and everyone's meal was scrumptious, highly recommend the broccoli mushroom Alfredo and their burgers! Drinks were delicious and service was fantastic! Unfortunately we live an hour away... We went to see the holiday lights at the New England botanic garden, but we're planning trips back in the spring and summer to eat at Table Twelve and go to the botanical garden again.

My kids took me here for my birthday dinner last night. We had been one other time and had a decent experience. Unfortunately, this trip was an absolute disaster. It was a Tuesday, so we didn't think we needed to make reservations. It was busy though and we ended up waiting about 20 minutes to get seated. The waitress came over and took our drink order, which was only two drinks and two waters, so no heavy lifting there. We ordered an appetizer and our meals. The appetizer never came and the waitress had to keep coming over to apologize for the long wait. She told us a party of 26 was in the back and their orders went to the kitchen prior to ours. It took over an HOUR for the meals to come out, and at that time only three of the four meals came. My daughter got a steak, which was overcooked, and I got a chicken dish. The chicken was warm but the sides were cold and not good. My son's steak was cooked perfectly but his sides were also cold. My other son ordered the most basic food on the planet, a burger....which did not come out with the other meals. We were told a couple times it would "be right out", and that the chef had sent it back because it wasn't cooked right. It's a burger, how long could it take even if it was a re-fire? So a good fifteen minutes later his food finally came and we realized that we had never received the appetizer. The waitress told us it was "on the bill" and asked if we still wanted it. We said we did and it came out a while later, so it had never been fired. Then we asked for one dessert to share, so we could at least eat something while waiting for my son to finish his meal. The dessert came out looking like the scrapings of apple crisp (which was COLD) left over from the party of 26, and the whole plate was mostly ice cream, which we were charged an extra $3 for? The waitress even asked if we liked it and I told her unapologetically "no". I get that a party of 26 puts a lot of strain on the staff, but I also know most restaurants aren't going to take a "walk in" party of that size without a reservation. So they certainly had time to prepare and staff accordingly so there weren't any negative effects felt by other diners.

The final icing on this half baked cake came when the bill got dropped and reflected ZERO apologies for the overwhelmingly horrible experience. The waitress should've relayed the multitude of issues to the manager, who then should have at least taken off the late to the party appetizer and subpar, mostly untouched dessert. We tipped her 20% because most of the problems were not her fault, but she should've requested some comps. A simple adjustment to compensate for the mess would've averted this review and preserved some hope for future patronage. This place is definitely SCRATCHED from the list. What a mess.

Upon arrival we were going to be seated in the back room and I asked to be seated in the bar. We were seated at a table where a party of 8 could have sat, mind you there were two open booths (no reservation signs on either). The waitress made up for our location as she was polite and checked with us several times during our meal. I rated service based on our server ! I do have a question, who seats a family of 4 with a toddler and another youngster in the bar area on a Thursday evening after 4pm! We arrived there at 5:30. Within the half hour the toddler became a nuisance yelling and carrying on. Mind you upon arrival I had to ask to be
in the bar. Why wasn’t this family
put in the rear? This my second visit in a week and a repeat of being sent to the rear with open booths in the bar. When asked to be seated in the bar it was like we inconvenienced the staff.

Stopped in for lunch and watched some of the Patriots game. There are plenty of large tvs!! The only negative was that the speakers were very loud for not that many people. The beer was cold and had a good selection. We both loved our lunches. Steak tips and nachos - both excellent. There were plenty of fixings on and off the nachos, like guacamole. I'm not sure where the service disappeared to in between checkups, but I had to find a 2nd beer by myself. The service was friendly, and the meals came out pretty fast. I would highly recommend it. We left full and happy.
