After a hectic (and a bit stressful) day of looking for a new house, we were calmed by the outstanding food and service at Twelve. We loved the food! Our server, Andrew W, was an excellent steward of our Twelve experience -- highly knowledgeable, engaging, empathetic to our house hunting, and supported by a great team! We look forward to booking our next Twelve experience overlooking the kitchen.
Our waitress was pleasant enough, just sort of seemed like she didn't want to be there. The booth seats are not deep enough, and I"m short. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip as an appetizer, which took a very long time to come out. The waitress explained that it is one of the apps that takes the longest as it is delivered to the restaurant frozen. It definitely did not taste homemade, and wasn't very good. The menu description stated the pita chips...
We went for restaurant week. The food was good, but the service was unfortunately lacking. We waited quite a while after being seated for anyone to greet us, and had to ask for the restaurant week menu since our server only delivered the regular menu. When the food eventually came it was good. Not sure if we'll return soon.
