We ordered this last night for take out. I ordered the tofu vegetable soup and the pad woon sen noodles. Both were delicious. My husband on the other hand ordered the cashew chicken. He is by no means a picky eater and this was one of the worst meals he's ever had. The chicken was rubbery and the sauce was almost like a watery soup--no thickness to it at all. I think this place is worth trying if you stick to a noodle or rice dish but I definitely don't recommend the cashew chicken entree unless you want to be disappointed.

Poor overall experience with uninspiring food and and rude management. Would not recommend, unless you desire an unhappy tasteless meal and waste your money...stay away!

Eat her every week. It does not get better thai food than this. Every dish I have tried has been delicious. I often time my errands to be near here during lunch and dinner times.

Tons of delicious food. Multi-selection gluten free on menu. Perfectly cooked. Cute as a button wait staffer named Sorelle, polite, friendly. Will be back here again.

Never had a bad meal from here, from both dine-in and takeout. So many items that I like, that I can go several visits and not have the same thing twice.

Holy wow! I haven't had food this fresh in a while. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and I've never had that dish served as exquisitely or better tasting than this! Crystal and the staff are amazing.

We came up from Virginia to visit some friends and had to hit up, my friend Paul's, favorite restaurant.

The dessert was a surprise and we'll worth the calories!

Thai isn't my favorite food, but by god, Crystal's is top tier!!! Thank you for a great meal and experience!

Honestly, it’s a hit or miss. I’ve been going to Crystal’s since the first OG staff back in 2015. That team was always courteous and nice with being able to ask for recommendations when trying new things off the menu, they would be personable, and ask how you are or how your day was going. This new staff, while they are respectful, are on their phones when not handling customers and it seems pretty unhygienic when also handling food. That disconnect makes them seem unfriendly and care more about themselves then making customers feel like they are at Crystal’s Kitchen.

The seating can be pretty difficult if a two party takes a table that seats four. While, the staff reserves two tables to eat on, do paperwork, and handle budget and inventory. No hate at all, I just feel they could maximize that space for guests to sit at like in previous years.

Today, I went and ordered the same items I always order which are crab rangoons, caterpillar roll, and pad thai w/ chicken tonkatsu on top and a fried egg. The crab rangoon was perfect. However, the caterpillar roll tasted not fresh at all. The fried egg was a bit undercooked and cold in the center yet piping hot on the outside. The pad thai was supposed to be a level two spicy upon placing my order. That was not the case. It was bland and lacked any spice at all. I had asked the waitress if there was any spice added to this and she confirmed there was but I had told her it was not spicy at all and lacked flavor. She offered to bring me a chili paste to add to my dish but I declined. I went last Sunday and the dish was superb with the level of spice I had expected. I asked the waitress if there were different cooks and she stated it’s always the same cooks six days a week.

I’m a bit disappointed as the reason I come here is because I know the food is always fresh, served well, and a memory of my teen years. Today was not the case, unfortunately. I hope each time I go it’s as good as when I order on days the food is amazing.

This is by far the best authentic Thai Asian food restaurant south of Boston! I have been coming here for many years, the high quality of the food, prepared with the freshest ingredients - never disappoints. The friendliness of the staff and exceptional hospitality makes this restaurant even more special.

I was certainly not pleased with the Penang Char Kway Teow. It tasted more like Thai fried noodles—nothing distinctly Malaysian about it. The chicken pieces over the fried rice were meager at best. It was basically just a box of carbs.

We called 30 minutes ahead to place a takeout order. The woman who answered the phone was curt, rude, and seemed impatient from the start.

When we picked up the order and paid, we got back to the car and realized one item was missing. We returned to the restaurant to ask for the missing dish. The same woman snapped at us, saying, “Why didn’t you say something when I repeated the order?!” Then she harshly asked, “So, what do you want?! Our kitchen is closing!”—even questioning my kids with a stern and intimidating tone.

I was stunned by her attitude. Fortunately, another woman, who seemed to be the manager or owner and was working quietly on the side, stepped in to apologize. She assured us the missing dish would be prepared quickly.

We were passing through town and needed to get back on the road. Looking back, we realized the confusion likely came from the way the order was repeated. The woman rattled off all three items very quickly and with a heavy accent: “Penang noodles teriyaki Japanese fried rice.” What we had actually ordered was:
1. Penang Char Kway Teow
2. Teriyaki chicken over Japanese fried rice
3. Japanese fried rice

It’s easy to see how the rushed and unclear repetition led to the mistake. Still, there’s no excuse for the rude and confrontational behavior we experienced. A little patience and basic courtesy would have gone a long way.
