First and Last time I will dine here. A member in our party requires the use of a mobility device. The handicap entrance was locked!! Upon inquiring with the hostess, I was informed that “the owner likes that door locked at all times” This is illegal and needs to be investigated by the proper authorities. If you use a wheelchair or walker, stay clear of here.

Dim lights need to be consistent and the 70's sound track needs to be a presence at night with Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheerhan thrown in. Include the generations that love your food.

We sat in a booth in the bar. Very comfortable. Started with a good side salad. I had the haddock and my friend had the steak tips.We both thought our meals were excellent. Our server was the best. So kind and appropriately attentive. A very nice experience and we will be back.

Had a late lunch for a small celebration. The food was really good. The waitress was really good. I split the bill for the friends with my now EX wife. I tipped the waitress well an my EX stiffed her.

Our waiter, Thiago, was outstanding! He spoke to our grandchildren, ages 4 and 10, in multiple languages. My husband was celebrating his birthday, so his dessert came with a candle. Thiago also brought a candle for our 4 year-old! We will always recommend West Village Tavern.

St. Patrick's day was our first visit to West Village Tavern. We really enjoyed it !!! The corned beef & cabbage was really good and we were served a large portion. Reminded me of “the old sod”. We were pleasantly surprised when a bagpiper in a kilt marched through the restaurant to the delight of everyone !! we look forward to our next visit.

The noise level was so high that it was almost impossible to hear our own conversation. We all agreed that our food was good, but we'd not return on a busy night - which means we probably won't return. Putting in some soundproofing would make a huge difference in this, otherwise, very nice space.

The West Village Tavernbwas a good find. We were greeted and seated enthusiastically and promptly. Reservations were needed for dinner. The food was good. The chorizo sausage fondue was delicious, as were the dining chips. The Chicken Cobb salad was generously portioned-- yay for avocado-- and the grilled and seasoned chicken was very tender. The only downside were the limpness of the greens and the excessive oil in and on the shell that held the salad. The servers were friendly and attentive, and our food was served promptly. A pleasant dinner out.

Nice luncheon after an MD appt. We are from Rhode Island and found the place charming. Tiago was our waiter and was kind enough to substitute a plain baked potato for my loaded one. I am lactose intolerant and forgot to tell him that beforehand. (Turkey dinner) My SIL's smash burger was delicious , she said.

Casual dining in upscale town. The portions are large as is the price. The large 8oz cheeseburger ($19) was pretty good with a large bun, tomatoes and raw, sweet onions. The best was the side of Caesar Salad (or mixed green salad or French fries) that came with the burger; it was lightly dressed, with plenty of shaved Parmesan cheese and homemade, fresh croutons.Parking: Metered parking. Some parking on nearby residential streets. No parking lot.
