Waterfront Restaurant Reviews
Awesome time! And great food!
So I have to preface this by saying that we did not know that there would be a wedding there the night we made our reservation so this review is only based on what we found when we arrived. First, DO NOT GO IF THERE IS A WEDDING!!!! And no you didn't text us to let us know there was a wedding so that is BS. The water front is likely a really nice place to have dinner but because there was a wedding we were sent to the basement which IS NOT anything like the upstairs. This is on...read full review
We sat outside on the deck with the ocean view. Very nice! Service was very attentive. The food was okay.... Clam chowder tasty but could have used more clams. The wedge salad was good, the lobster add-on wasn't as fresh as expected, unsure if it was previously frozen.
The Waterfront Restaurant offers a beautiful waterfront setting, perfect for special occasions. Guests can enjoy a menu that includes fresh seafood dishes like lobster and baked stuffed haddock, along with a selection of drinks. The long deck provides a lovely space for outdoor dining with an ocean view, and the sunset view adds to its charm. The restaurant features a friendly atmosphere with attentive and super friendly staff. Many visitors enjoy the fish and chips, which are recommended as a good choice. While the food is generally very good and the lobster is exceptional, some guests have noted that certain items, like the clam chowder, could use more clams. The wedge salad is good, but the lobster add-on may not always be as fresh. Servers are accommodating and personable, though there have been instances of slow service, especially during busy times. Guests are advised that the kitchen can get backed up, leading to a long wait to be seated and for food. Overall, it remains a popular spot for families and those seeking a lovely waterfront meal with a great view, making it a "do-again" experience for many.
