I had the French Onion Soup and Fried Calamari. They were good. The service was nice. It was dark for my taste, though I understand pubs usually have dark wood and dim lights. It was a nice place to catch up with friends.

We'd never been here before but lunch was yummy (salad & burgers) and the service was friendly, warm, and welcoming. It was quite full on a Saturday afternoon so plan accordingly!

Stepping into Paddy’s Public House in Newton, Massachusetts, feels like finding a hidden gem in the heart of the city. This charming pub exemplifies the perfect blend of a cozy atmosphere and exceptional food, making it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.I had the pleasure of trying their bacon cheeseburger, and it was a delightful experience. The burger was cooked to perfection, with a juicy, flavorful patty that harmonized wonderfully with the crispy bacon and melted cheese. Every bite was a taste of heaven! The sweet potato fries were a standout side dish. They were crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right, creating a delightful contrast with the savory burger. And the fried pickles - oh, what a treat! They were crunchy, tangy, and addictively delicious, with just the right amount of breading to not overpower the pickle itself. The staff at Paddy’s deserves a special mention for their warm and welcoming service. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. In summary, Paddy’s Public House is a culinary treasure in Newton. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic pub meal or looking to enjoy a casual drink with friends, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommended for an authentic and satisfying dining experience!

My server Shannon L was polite, personable, and attentive. The fish n chips was delicious. Thin layer of batter/crust, well cooked, and crunchy. You get a large piece of fish. The French fries are also tasty and well cooked.Very quickly seated and food came out quickly as well.I definitely look forward to coming here again. Hopefully I get Shannon.

Paddy's is an Irish Pub with a large selection of draft beers and great comfort food. We go there at least 3 or 4 times a month.

Paddy's is my all time favorite restaurant and has been for many many years. It just keeps getting better! Never had a meal I did not love. My favorites are their baked stuffed haddock. In fact all of their fish dishes are the freshest around Metro West. Try the very unusual and outstanding CHICKEN CAESAR PIZZA! No one makes a better tasting pizza! Great atmosphere like being in a very cool Irish Pub. Speaking of... their Sheppard's Pie is the best this side of Ireland. And that is a quote from a true Irishman relative who will order nothing but that every time! Bar is lively and very entertaining and serves up a great variety. Once you go, I guarantee you will become a regular like me! Enjoy!

Right in the corner of Newton is this cute little Irish tavern, with both friendly service despite the bustling and tight atmosphere. Plenty of parking all around, with a metered lot right across the street. Food was fantastic! The beef stew was pretty flavorful, with the meat essentially melting in my mouth and the stew itself being just the right amount of salty and savory - making it a pretty damn good comfort for a cold night. As for the cherry bomb burger, it was pretty flavorful with the cherry peppers, giving it a nice kick. The fries, on the other hand, were pretty satisfying to much on - and surprisingly also paired well with the stew Will definitely come back for more!

We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!
