Westbury Diner is a staple on Centre St. It's a no-frills breakfast spot that's been serving up classic breakfast fare for decades. It's not as trendy as The Rox Diner, but the portions are decent, the food is tasty, and you can almost always get a seat. I find the wait staff affable and attentive. This isn't the place to come for a high end meal with a cozy ambiance, but if you want a big omelette or some fried eggs and bacon and a bottomless cup of coffee, it's as good a place as any. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but I don't consider any place cheap anymore. At the time of this review, I paid $13 for a Greek omelette, home fries and toast. That's seems steep to me, but again, I'm old enough to remember the same meal costing $5, so my perception is admittedly skewed.

I went there and i asked for 4 pancakes to go. On purpose, the waitress didn't ask me if i want 4 pancakes or 4 orders of pancakes(she wanted to make business with me). You can imagine what she did.... she gave me 4 orders (4 pieces on each plate total 16 pieces) how can i eat them? To embarrass her, i donated to her customers after i increased the tone of my voice ftont of everyone. It cost me 50$ and didn't give me the money back. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN

First visit: Wait staff barely there. Kept waiting for menus, food, check, etc. Wrong food served, then another long wait, then food both overcooked and cold when it finally came out.

2nd visit: When I arrived I was told to sit anywhere I liked. I did, and continued sitting for more than 5 minutes without even being offered a menu or coffee. The place was mostly empty, but again no staff in the dining room - so whatever they were doing, it didn’t include serving customers. Eventually I ran out of patience and left.

3rd visit: As if… there won’t be one.

Traditional American dining with a Spanish twist.

If you want fluffy and tasty pancakes with solid home fries in West Roxbury, then hit this place up.
Huevos rancheros
Sausage & egg quesadilla: This HIT the spot! Highly recommend!!
Fiesta potatoes looked great, and I wish I could've gotten em but alas, next time
Old style potatoes came with onions and tasted just ok, so stick with the regular home fries

Perfect small breakfast spot that is simple, delicious and very inexpensive. If you want fancy and perfect go elsewhere.

This isn’t the type of breakfast spot I would recommend. First the sausages were overcooked ( turkey sausage ). I told the waitress and she told the chef to make them over and they were yet again burnt. The eggs weren’t fresh, the cheese wouldn’t even melt so that tells me they weren’t freshly made. The only thing I really liked was the pancakes. The corn beef hash was straight out of a can, and was just nasty. The home fries weren’t freshly warm from the grill. Then my husband asked for a Greek omelet to which the chef left out the olives. The waitress took it off the bill I believe. Although I don’t see how when the bill still came up to $40. The way they give you your bill is on a rankled up bill with nothing but a price written on it. I honestly wish we chose elsewhere.

Parking: Parking on the street for free. In front and across the street.

Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids. Although we went early and there weren’t any kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely! Door was open to go right in or someone could home the door. Tables could accommodate wheelchair access.

Poor customer service. Food is mediocre and good luck on trying to get a refill on your drink.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We have always had generous and delicious breakfasts at thissit-in-a -booth restaurant. The atmosphere is that of a classic diner. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. I encourage all to give it a try.

I went to this restaurant. I sat at the counter, no one helped me. My husband has been hospitalized since March 21st. His favorite food is American chop suey. I wasn’t assured because of my color. I was in the restaurant before closing.
