Mamma Mia's Pizzeria & Trattoria

I’ve been holding off on writing this review for a while now, but I feel like it has to be said. My friends and I (all women of color) were trying to find a place to sit and eat after spending hours at the Big E. We came across this pizzeria and decided to go in since it was the only restaurant nearby.

Before we even got close to the door, a woman suddenly slammed it shut in front of us and locked it. Mind you, two older white men had just entered the establishment right before us. When I went up to the door, she looked me in the eyes and laughed.

We were a group of young women in an unfamiliar area simply looking for a place to sit and eat. It’s 2025 — you should not be locking your doors on people because of their age or appearance. Please do better.

Have gone there quite a bit never ordered pizza wish I had not it was horrible nothing on it so under cooked..I called asked if I could trade pizza back for a grinder she said she didn't have any left of that kind then rudely told me no one else complained then left me on hold.so I guess they needed the money that bad..can't believe I was treated like this from a place I've been a regular at..they can keep the money I'll never order from the place again..over priced to say the least. YOU WISH IT WAS FABRICATED THAT WOULD MEAN THE FOOD MIGHT NOT SUCK AS BAD AS IT DOES...FIX UR FOOD INSTEAD OF TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS

Today I came in for the first time to dine in with my family. I usually go to Tony’s on Boston rd but today there were closed. My family decided to come here . I must say the guy at the counter was great and polite. When I sat down in the dinning room a lady came over and asked what would we like to drink . I expressed to her that I wanted a 2 liter to share with my family . This woman was rude and force my family and I to buy drinks individually at 3 dollars each. She could have offered my family a pitcher but didn’t . She was very rude to me in front of my family. I will never bring my family here after the disrespect I have encountered tonight. I will recommend anyone reading this that Tony’s is a lot better ! More family oriented and better service.

These ppl are rude, disrespectful I felt very unwanted and they win i won't be back the big lady in the front might as well put a sign up no Blacks aloud very pretentious Nasty Zero Hospitaliti even asked for my money back she said I'm not giving her nothing my husband had to get our money back never again

This pizza tastes like frozen pizza. Dough is way too soft and thick. Also, the cheese is just…off. No sear, no golden burn nothing, just straight up WHITE mozzarella cheese on your pizza. Needs more time in the oven maybe.

Visiting in West Springfield. Hungry for pizza. Mamma Mia's was only a block away. Greeted right away by owners. Ordered small antipasto and tossed salad and personal pizza. Salads were HUGE! The ingredients very fresh. Pizza came a little later. Hot, steamy and yummy to view and to eat. Waitress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Owners came out and visited. Nice touch!

Parking: Eight or ten spots in a small lot.
