If there were a sixth star, I would give it to Serj, and then I would personally petition the United Nations to create a seventh star just so I could give him that one too. That’s how good this man is at his job.
My journey began as I walked through the hallowed doors of Olive Garden, where the aroma of endless breadsticks and the faint whisper of Alfredo sauce linger in the air like a divine hymn. The hostess led me to my table, but little did I know that fate itself had seated me in Serj’s section.
From the moment he approached, it was clear I wasn’t dealing with an ordinary waiter. No. Serj appeared at my table as though descending from the heavens—apron neatly tied, pen at the ready, posture strong, eyes twinkling with the kind of confidence that says, “I can carry six soup bowls in one hand and refill your water before you even realize you’re thirsty.”
He introduced himself with the grace of a Broadway performer and the sincerity of a man who truly understands the weight of unlimited salad. “Hi, I’m Serj, I’ll be taking care of you today.” Taking care of me? Friend, Serj didn’t just take care of me. He shepherded me through a culinary odyssey.
When I asked for extra breadsticks, he didn’t just bring them—he presented them, like a knight returning from battle with treasure for his king. When I inquired about the difference between the Tour of Italy and the Chicken Alfredo, Serj’s explanation was so detailed, I felt like I had just attended a TED Talk on pasta-based decision-making. He gestured with such passion toward the menu, I half expected him to pull out a laser pointer and pie charts.
At one point, I dropped my fork. Before it even hit the floor, Serj materialized with a replacement, as though he had foreseen this in a prophetic vision earlier that morning. Truly, this man must have Spidey-sense, but instead of crime, his powers are tuned to the vibrations of clattering cutlery.
Midway through the meal, he checked in—not too much, not too little. Like Goldilocks’ ideal bowl of porridge, his timing was just right. I imagine Serj keeps an internal clock, finely calibrated to the digestive rhythms of mankind.
But the true climax of this saga came with dessert. I was full. Stuffed, even. Yet Serj, with the persuasive power of a seasoned diplomat, described the Warm Italian Doughnut's with such poetic elegance that I found myself ordering one. Reader, I devoured it, tears of joy streaming down my face, while Serj nodded knowingly in the background, like a mentor watching his pupil achieve greatness.
In conclusion, Serj is not a waiter. He is an experience. A legend. A national treasure. If Olive Garden ever creates a Hall of Fame, Serj’s apron should be the first item enshrined within.
Go to Olive Garden. Ask for Serj. And prepare yourself.

This was a perfect stop after the rest coast gem and mineral show to relax and regroup before our 3 hour trek home. Everybody was great and the food plentiful enough that we didn't have to make dinner the following day. Thank you for an awesome visit!

Ordered minestrone to go (1/2 gal) wanted to compare it from when we went to Olive Garden near Eastfield Mall and my interpretation at home.
Got it home from W.Springfield (still hot) and ate some to find its very salty. So sorry. All the right ingredients and spices but the salinity was a bit too much. Should I dilute it with more water?
The food took a while to cook and it was not even warm when we received it. The salad tasted soggy and awful. And there was a rubber band in my soup. My chicken scampi was extremely dry and the chicken was very hard. One of the waiters cleaning next to us was spraying cleaner everywhere while we were trying to eat and got it in our food after we had asked him to stop. And our waitress was extremely rude and barely came over to the table and when she did she had a really bad attitude. She was also rushing everything and making us feel as though we had to rush our date night and I was not very happy at all.

A skinny blond hair Hostess was working at the front reception on Sunday July 6 at 4pm. Shes very rude and nasty. While she gave us table by the corner with 2 chairs because but I asked her for booth for my child where she likes to seat ! she got so angry and yelled at me saying next time while I come,I need to ask her first otherwise she won’t give me a table but we are from newyork! We went there to have good time not seeing her nasty face.Feel like, they don’t ask for soup/salad refill anymore either.waitress doesn’t look friendly either.Looks like they don’t like brown people and they just don’t care!. We go all over the olive gardens but never saw creepy place like this before!Racism in there and be careful ! Never going back !

It was a nice meal the waitress was nice,we did also order take out to bring home for my daughter, and we were missing bread sticks, and the chicken,to go with the alfredo,we just got noodles,so,dissapointing, another time there was a meal missing, got to learn to check the food before we leave,it's a hour ride back.we love the food ,it's our favorite place to eat,but it seems like they are lacking on there take out ,we spend over $150 on a great meal. I hope in the future it gets better ,today was very disappointing to get home and no bread sticks,or chicken with the meal, hate to spend money at a place that screws up your order more than once

Good food, very affordable which is surprising in today’s economy. We were seated fast and had our meals within 20 minutes of being seated. Giant bowl of salad that served 4 to 6 people. I had spaghetti and meatballs (rigatoni) and came with free breadsticks. Under $20. That’s better than cooking at home and you don’t have to wash the dishes. Our waiter was fast, attentive, and professional. The place is kept clean overall a win win. This was the riverdale rd west spfld location. Well done Olive Garden.

I’ve been here a few times and the food and service is always pretty good. For a chain restaurant, you get good food good service, decent size portions and overall a pretty good experience. Also, when you include breadsticks and salad with the entrées, it makes for a very reasonable price. My son also loves the Alfredo!

I’ve been to this place before and had great experience. During my most recent visit my waiter was very rude. her tone was snappy and after we told her we will need more time to think on the menu she took our menus and walked off. Confused we got up and left.

Went with my daughter the food was horrible her chicken was gummy like and I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and the meatballs were frozen disgusting haven't been there since..
The best alfredo pasta around here outside of a single local joint an hour away and even then, it's close. I've always enjoyed their pasta and the way they cook their chicken. The soup is always a gamble, though I think it's been a little more consistent lately. It sucks getting the chicken gnocchi and not having chicken. Just because it isn't 5 stars on my review doesn't mean it isn't good service or food, the servers are always nice and the food is usually good except when they rush and don't strain the pasta enough and I get watery sauce and pasta. But that's been rare recently too, so I'm pretty happy.
