This is a good little restaurant, very close to the tarmac and with large viewing windows. The dishes we had were all very good--cheeseburger, chowder, and black bean & sweet potato veggie burger. Very casual. Airy, sunny interior. Lots of fun local aviation memorabilia. I'd eat here again anytime I'm in the area.
We love going to diners and thought this one seemed fun, staring as planes arrived and took off at the local Martha’s Vineyard airport. The menu was great, but regardless of the various egg preparations, no one was impressed with their dishes. The highlight was the raspberry pancakes, but otherwise not a particularly memorable breakfast. The best part was being greeted by the waitress, holding the mugs ready to pour coffee. That’s always a winning breakfast moment.
Service and food has always been excellent. Pricing is fair with easy parking. Never too busy in the summer and open year round. Will always highly recommend this great diner!

quite an unfriendly bunch. was 10m early for lunch and the answer was, now we are serving breakfast - if you want lunch come back later. But I guess they can be jerks and get away with it as they are the only restaurant in the terminal.

Great, fast breakfast/doner food at the MV Airport in sight of the planes taking off and landing. Solid diner-type menu and good food quality. Service is attentive and food comes fast! Island breakfast classic!

The Plane View Restaurant is situated in somewhat of a restaurant desert along Edgartown-West Tisbury Road. Traffic can be heavy around the entrance to the MV Airport but parking is easy once inside. There is complimentary 2 hour parking in the general airport parking lot. The Plane View Restaurant knows what it is and delivers quality pub/diner-style food quickly to accommodate travelers who may have time constraints. The many locals who frequent this establishment are not rushed if they prefer to linger. The food served to our party was delicious: -Turkey Club Sandwich -French Dip Sandwich -Potato Skins -Chicken Tenders Our server was perfectly pleasant and very efficient, bringing a soda refill as soon as she saw an empty cup. During our visit, when a guest at the table adjacent to us began choking, several team members quietly rushed to the scene to help just as the situation resolved itself. Their training kicked in during a potential emergency. Locals and travelers alike love Plane View for the food and the ambiance. You do feel as if you are on the runway with views out of large windows on three sides of the establishment. If you prefer to sit at a bar, that is an option. This airport restaurant should appeal to children as planes are constantly taking off and landing just yards away. Give Plane View a try for breakfast or lunch even if you don't have a ticket to ride!
I simply come here on several occasions especially to get brunch while i do laundry nearby however today customer service was at an all time low. I don’t know who trained that young lady that’s serving at the bar, attitude stinks, I simply asked for a burger ,she said they don’t serve lunch menu until 2pm. I asked why is that because I’ve came here and received service before on several occasions, she just stares disgustingly then I asked can I speak to the manager the answer was a sharp “NO” then she walked off. Even if I would plan to have something else I immediately lost appetite. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m a black person wearing a gold chain she felt so comfortable acting out of class , or my aura “encouraged” her stereotypical rudeness. I resolve albeit the greeter who is a gentleman with a pierced upper lip at the door was very polite in explaining to me that on Sundays they don’t offer that menu and that I might have came there some other day. I left but if this is the last place on the island I’m not dining there again, they should probably encourage their bartender to pursue some form of training in customer service.

Best fries on the island and amazing breakfast food. You would expect airport food food to be bad but even locals come here for the food.

An airport restaurant that’s worth a visit even if you’re not flying. The food is good (try the burger) and for aviation buffs the views of the planes can’t be beat.

Worst worst consumer service ever! Am never the type of person to ever write reviews but this one was well overdue, My friend and i ordered food and the guy was rude to us for no reason whats so ever. And thats not even the first time i went there and was being rude to by different waiters/waitress at that.
