This was a true dining experience! We live right down the road from State Road Restaurant and have never been able to get in due to not having reservations. Finally got reservations, and this place did not disappoint. The food from the appetizers to the meals was outstanding. From the scallop to the baked cod dish, to the prime hanger steak, outstanding. The service was one of our better experiences by far here. This restaurant should be nominated for a James Beard Award.

Without question, this meal from threshold to end was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. These folks have created a down to earth fine dining experience with the highest grade of wait staff, lighting, comfort, sound and space between tables.
