I recently ordered takeout from Brio and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience from start to finish.

I ordered the Harvest Salmon Bowl and the Eggplant Parmesan. Although the restaurant is about a 20-minute drive for me, I appreciated that the order was ready when I arrived. However, when I got home, I discovered that the bag contained only a plain slab of salmon—there was no “bowl” included at all.

I called the restaurant to report the issue (and as a side note, the phone number listed on the takeout sticker is incorrect). The staff member I spoke with apologized and said they would remake the order and have it ready when I returned.

I drove back, arriving about 30 minutes later, only to find that the food still wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes, and when I finally received the order, the salmon hadn’t even been replaced. By the time I got home, everything was cold and had to be reheated.

There was also no offer of a refund, discount, or any other attempt to make things right.

In total, I spent nearly an hour driving back and forth for a Harvest Salmon Bowl that was prepared at different times and ultimately served cold. The entire experience was disappointing and inconvenient.

To make matters worse, I reached out to the owner afterward. She initially responded and said she would get back to me, but after multiple follow-up emails, I never heard from her again.

Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I hope the restaurant improves both its quality control and customer service

First time. Great food and service. Good size starter salads. Salmon on squash puree was delicious. Bit expensive but great food.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Super friendly staff, attentive service, and delicious food. We had coconut shrimp as an app and the beet salad before dinner. Amazing beet salad with fried goat cheese. Had the short rib as an entree which was seasoned perfectly and fell apart with a fork. This will definitely be a favorite date night spot. Can’t wait to go back!

food was excellent. Good gluten free options. Atmosphere ok. A little dull inside for the prices they are asking. IMO they need to redesign the entire inside to compete with the new standard of dining experience.

Brio 33 has one of the best lunch/sandwich menus we’ve been able to find. The fried cod sandwich and short rib grilled cheese were awesome. Definitely worth checking out for lunch over some of the chains nearby.

Very disappointing experience last night. We were a party of 10 and had a 5:15 reservation, yet we were there until almost 9 pm due to extremely slow service.

Drinks took forever to arrive, and once they did, no one came back to refill them. Our glasses were empty for about 40 minutes. Water was never refilled either. There was very little attentiveness from the staff.

To make matters worse, most of our meals came out wrong only three dishes were correct. The time between courses was unreasonably long.

The meatballs were the only highlight of the evening.

For a restaurant that clearly handles large parties, this was not the level of service we expected.

The food is AMAZING! I love the truffle fries and can’t get enough of the chicken parm. My husband and I went on Valentines Day and it was so calm I was amazed. The staff is so friendly and the waitress is the sweetest! An amazing addition to Westborough!!

Brio 33 was exceptionally accommodating during one of the most difficult times for our family, and their customer service, communication, and community focus were truly outstanding.

After the passing of our loved one, we wanted to hold a Celebration of Life at Brio, as it was our loved one's favorite restaurant. We needed the event to take place on a Monday, when the restaurant is typically closed. Gail (owner) immediately responded and graciously offered to open it for our private event.

When we met with Gail and Chef Kevin, we were so touched by the thoughtful questions they asked regarding our loved one's favorite foods and drinks. Personalizing every detail, including creating a signature drink in his honor, meant the world to us. Gail’s reassurance that her team would handle everything allowed us to focus on other details. Their organization and compassion brought us comfort.

On the day of the event, everything flowed seamlessly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the servers were professional, attentive, and respectful. They gave us the space we needed to grieve/celebrate our loved one while ensuring our every need was met.

Brio truly had our back and helped us create a beautiful function that our loved one would have loved. While Brio is a great place for lunch and dinner, we will highly recommend them for special events as well.

A special thank you to Gail, Chef Kevin, Amelia and Devon for this event. If we could give Brio 33 ten stars, we would!

Food was very good. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was pleasant. We will definitely go back. I’m guessing some of the negative reviews I read were growing pains from when the restaurant first opened.

love the menu choices. We've been only once so far, wait staff was great, food delicious. We had the filet special with au gratin potatoes, very good!

Unfortunately, another average American restaurant. We seriously need more authentic food at lower prices and comfortable settings… not just another version of pizza and “infusion”.

Had a reservation for 6:30 PM and my party of 3 was seated promptly. Server came over and took our drink orders, unfortunately it took close to a half hour for the drinks to show up. We ordered dinner but it took close to an hour for the food to arrive and when it did 2 of our 3 meals were room temperature. We mentioned this to our server when she came back to check and she offered to replace them but by then we had already been in the restaurant for 90 minutes and opted to make do, finish our existing meal, and leave. The server apologized but aside from offering to have the meals redone there was no compensation offered. It really seemed that our meals had been cooked and had been sitting out for some time before they were delivered to our table. I think we will give Brio 33 several more months before attempting again.

Great night at Brio 33 in Westborough. We started with the bacon hash scallops and they were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For dinner, we had the short rib and the chicken piccata and both were tender, well seasoned, and came out hot and right on time.

Our server, Devon, was friendly, attentive, and very helpful with menu suggestions and specials. The atmosphere was comfortable and perfect for a nice night out or a special occasion.

Thank you, Brio 33. We can’t wait to come back. We know how hard the owners worked to reopen the space and are grateful to have another true staple in the community.
