The place was kind of small, but it was definitely worth it to go there. My favorite part of it was definitely the warm pita baskets that go with nearly every meal they have. Also I just in general like bread. The shawarma was definitely very good, and the meals were portioned so that you could share with others. They also served us water with a good amount of ice. It was quite expensive though.

It’s been a while since we dined here. The restaurant looks different, nice renovation. We ordered drinks and they were not made correctly and way too strong.
The food was not authentic and wasn’t appetizing. The shawarma was made of some reprocessed beef and not how it is made authentically. The kafta was ok but the cinnamon flavor was overpowering and the rice was super bland. We got bread but no oil/butter or any kind of dip.
I was quite dissatisfied with the quality of food and drink. The waitress seemed aware of our dissatisfaction and offered complementary dessert choice, chose the Baklava and that was delicious.
I am sad to say that I won’t come back as this is not authentic middle eastern food at all.

The restaurant look beautiful. I will say that; however. I was there with a friend. The lady was super polite to my friend but however was very rude to me. She would just ignore as if i wasnt there at all unless she was taking my order, and she was very cold to me. I asked for an authentic dish and the rice was some cheap parboiled rice. Not authentic at all. I was also over charged with a $92 bill for two drinks, one $35 entree and one appetizer. Would not recommend this place at all.

You lose your authenticity when you culturally-appropriate food, shame on you

I’ve lived in Metrowest for two decades and finally visited La Basha, determined to find some delicious local dinner that wasn’t the expected choice of Italial, Asian or upscale gastropub. What a find! The interior is tasteful and comfortable, but it’s the food that’s the star. We got the “pupu” platter to sample all the different apps and we couldn’t decide which was more delicious; the kibbe, the hummus, the falafel or the babaganoush. Eating them all in combinations wrapped in the complimentary pita solved that. And the main courses were super flavorful and generous. Our table tried just about every kabob, each seasoned specifically ( too often places slather it all in the same marinade) and my father went bonkers for the chicken shawarma served over salad. But definitely save room for the baklava, served warm and absolutely irresistible. If I have one small critique it would be that we came In when the dining room was about 3/4 full and the waitresses (there were two) were delightful, but definitely were working hard to keep up.

Those who know El Basha, tell everyone. I've been coming to their locations for years. They are committed to quality and the food is amazing. Just go, it will end up in your rotation.

Not worth the hype, expensive and very small portions. Waiter was expecting 20% tip, she was not happy when we changed to 15%, didn’t even acknowledge. I would never go again and do not recommend.
