Great spot for subs! Pizzas are pretty good, but the steak and cheese for me is my favorite and the consistently is unmatched. Try them out for yourself!

Never again. A little less than a week ago, a friend and I went here for dinner. I ordered chicken piccata with ziti, she ordered chicken piccata with spaghetti. When we initially went up to the counter to order, the girl taking our order was honestly kind of rude, but neither of us thought much of it, maybe she was having a tough day. Once our food came, she brought over my friend’s chicken piccata with spaghetti & mine with ziti, but mine had red sauce all over it. Thinking that maybe they made a mistake, I told the girl that I had actually also ordered chicken piccata and that there must’ve been a mistake. She immediately started telling me that chicken piccata has red sauce and became irrational when my friend and I countered her, knowing that chicken piccata does not have red sauce and if we both ordered chicken piccata, then both of our meals should have the same sauce!! She rolled her eyes, was saying how we were wrong and that it was made right (she literally said chicken piccata has red sauce), told us she was going to call her manager, and honestly my friend and I were shocked by how rude she was being, practically yelling at us when we were completely calm. She came back all apologetic and told us that they’d remake it. She said she would give us a discount, but that her manager wasn’t physically here so she really couldn’t— I didn’t appreciate being offered a discount but like not really, it felt kind of like a fake apology. But frankly, I could care less about a discount, I would just like the $20.99 chicken piccata I ordered to be remade to actually be chicken piccata. Well then my friend starts eating her chicken piccata and telling me it wasn’t her favorite but that I’d also have to try it. Once the girl brought over my chicken piccata, corrected, I tasted the meal with the same dismay. It almost tasted like they hadn’t actually made a chicken piccata sauce and neither of us ate much because it was so gross. Once we were ready to leave, she asked if we wanted a box and we said no. She gave us a look, kind of like now that I’ve fixed your food you’re not even gonna eat it, which made my friend and I upset. I normally don’t post bad reviews, but save your money, don’t come here. Support other local businesses with better customer service and food!

My experiences have been pretty disappointing. I moved to town 2 years ago and on my first visit I tried to buy pizza dough to bring home to make my own pizza. I've been buying dough from pizza places for decades with no issues. The staffer laughed at me before eventually conferring with a manager or cook, and then came back and rudely reiterating the answer was "no". I didn't come back for about a year when I tried their pizza. Much like most of Westboro and Central Mass, it's just not good... too much cheese, not enough sauce, and very doughy. We just returned and ordered a chick parm sub. The cheese was on top, and when I took off the wrapper the cheese was stuck to it and all came off. I've never seen a chick parm not use wax paper, or have the cheese below a layer of sauce so it doesn't do that. We also ordered a steak and cheese with peppers and onions and even had a conversation on the phone about whether we should order a steak bomb instead, but it was noted we didn't want mushrooms. Instead we got a steak & cheese with peppers, NO onions, but it was covered with mushrooms. The only positives I can come up with were the bread quality was good, the chicken was very good, the sauce was decent, and it was ready quickly. It'll be a while before we come back though.

UPDATE, George the owner, made good on the mistake!!!

ordered a Greek chicken salad with grilled chicken added.Calamata olives and banana peppers.Ordered extra salad dressing and an extra pita, with a soda. Total $17.57
no chicken...and a 3oz cup of dressing instead of a 2oz. No tomatoes. They're food is ALWAYS good. Unfortunately I was on my lunch break and couldn't go back. The manager (owner?) said he'd give me 50% off... Lets see.

Food is okay as far as pizza place food goes. Prices are outrageous. 15 dollars for a small pepperoni pizza??? That's a little extreme. I've had way better pepperoni pizza for 5 dollars less. Don't know why the prices are so high maybe it's because it's Westborough idk but I can get a better pizza 15 minutes away for at least 5 bucks cheaper. Also had a meatball sub. You better be ready to eat it with a fork because they fall apart. Not saying that's bad but your not eating it without it falling apart. Also anything that has lettuce on it has so much lettuce I hope you have rabbits to feed the extra lettuce to it's a lot. The food in general is okay not great not worth the price they charge but I guess it is what it is. I won't go back. Plenty of better food for you at lower prices to keep you happy/satisfied. Subway is 5 minutes away. Better food. Healthier also. But if you want pizza place food. Drive 15 minutes to another pizza place. You'll be glad you did. Star pizza on Grafton Street in Worcester is awesome. Food is great prices are perfect. If your like me and don't want a lot of cheese just order it with light on the cheese so much better. Prices are more normal too. Food is great

This place is not worth it at all tbh. The manager is very rude to customers and his staff. I’ve seen many people come and go and everyone says they left because of the management. Their food is disgusting. Don’t recommend at all

Food here is generally okay. I’ve tried here a couple of times, but my order is always wrong. The last two times I ordered the steak tips, I asked for medium rare and they are so overdone, it’s like leather. Tonight I decided to order them rare in hopes that they wouldn’t have to cook them too long, and therefor wouldn’t be over cooked. I was wrong, they’re actually not only WAY past well done, but actually burnt. They also got my salad order wrong, “fixed it,” and then upon returning home, I discovered it was still wrong after literally repeating my order over 7 times.As mentioned, overall the food isn’t terrible but I think I will not be back, at least for awhile.

I only ever get take out, we always get pizza there, because it's really the best in town, we always get veggie, and the vegetables are always crisp and fresh. But I discovered a new favorite, the chicken kabobs on the side menu is an excellent amount for a small meal if you grab a side salad or a side dish. The chicken literally melts in your mouth, it is unbelievably excellent and the price point is really underpriced for how delicious it is.Great job as always WHP

WHOP has been a go to for 20+ years but has continued to go downhill - it's a bummer. We went yesterday and were so disappointed. The young boy working the register was on his phone, airpods in and seemed very uninterested in his job. There wasn't anybody in the restaurant and meanwhile, the dining area was a mess - ripped booths, food on the tables, chairs all disorganized - you'd think he would be paying attention/cleaning up? Not to mention, I cut the inside of my mouth after biting right into a one inch bone in my chicken. I hope they can make some changes and get back to how things used to run!

Pizza ordered well done came out lightly cooked.

Growing up in Westboro, I was a frequent flyer of WHOP. I moved away 12 years ago, everytime I wouldd visit I wanted to stop and get a house special but everyone said it was terrible now.Last night we ordered two cheese and a house special. And it brought me right back to before.We will be back again
