“Shared via Westfield Community forum” by Anthony Ortono. *Needs to be posted here* As a business owner, it is essential to maintain a level of professionalism and avoid favoritism, even though personal preferences may arise. However, to push away someone who is genuinely kind, well-liked by the community, and has a loyal customer base that visits to see her and hear updates about her lovely family is quite unprofessional. The owner of the Good Table exhibits behavior that I would describe as genuinely disrespectful. My wife has dedicated nearly six years to this establishment, consistently delivering her best work without any issues and always arriving with a positive attitude. Life presents its challenges, and she occasionally needs to take time off due to our son or family emergencies. Yet, being treated like an adversary in such a small workplace, where other employees seem to conspire with the owner, makes her feel insecure and distressed, especially given her current hectic life. My wife was honored with the Howdy Award, and I have seen numerous businesses promote their employees' nominations, giving them recognition and appreciation. However, her boss not only failed to acknowledge this achievement but also made My wife feel disheartened with indirect remarks about the award, showing no enthusiasm whatsoever. My wife consistently goes above and beyond in her role at this small restaurant, which operates solely based on the owner's directives alongside her family. I believe it is important to speak out, as potential customer/employees should be aware that sending their young adults to this establishment may expose them to verbal abuse from the owner, who frequently accuses them of theft while engaging in questionable practices herself. I have remained silent for too long, and I genuinely believe that the stress and mild depression my wife has been experiencing stems directly from her treatment at work. I am not suggesting that you avoid the good table; rather, I want to make you aware of the chaos occurring behind the scenes.. I recognize that everyone copes with stress and communicates in their own way, but there is a delicate balance between aggressive communication and outright disrespect, and I feel the owner is unaware of what true hospitality entails.. I write this as a husband with over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having heard numerous negative accounts over the past six years about the owner.. I would like to conclude on a positive note: love one another, be kind to each other, and remember that people are not perfect. However, if you are going to manage an establishment, it is essential to learn how to communicate and treat others with a degree of decency.
Sketchy prices since it’s never the same. Health department should take a good look at what happens here. Fires good people who. Owner is not a good person.
Terrific. Love that the whole family is able to enjoy being together with a great meal

100% loved it!
Nice little diner. Limited menu, which ensures that everything is good! Friendly staff, quality food.
The service and atmosphere is why I gave 5 stars! Such a cute little place. It was very busy for Mother’s Day and due to the long wait to get our food we got a comp crème brûlée donut. The lunch food was average and I would recommend getting the breakfast, as that seemed to be what all the locals had! And I see why!!! It looked tasty!
Short wait on a Saturday morning to get a table. The food portions were generous, reasonably priced and the food was very good. The ambiance was most likely originally very quaint. Currently however, the location is slightly dingy and unkempt. The restaurant definitely needs a good deep clean and fresh paint. Especially the bathrooms which have dirt stains from years of the walls being touched in high traffic locations.
Staff handles the crowds wonderfully. And it is crowded because this place is amazing! The food, the service, and the location are fantastic! I strongly recommend and come hungry.
