Pleasantly surprised. Went to see some punk bands, the place has the essence of it's former dive bar but the food and drinks were excellent. Service was pretty good considering the crowd, the lone bartender was attentive. Food was a little slow but well worth the wait. The place was packed so the wait was understandable. We had a great time.
The Nook stands high above the industry standard. The roast beef horseradish sandwich changed my life for the better. I highly recommend the triva night.

This place is legit. I've tested it out a few times as a new local and I can see myself surrending many Thursdays here taking in the fresh comedy acts. I saw people of all walks of line m life, myself rounding out the crowd, and feel everyone can be comfortable here.
