We are passing through for a weekend getaway and did a quick “restaurants near us” search and stumbled upon Praya Thai purely by chance. I have to say the food was absolutely wonderful! Jackie was so lovely and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. If you want to eat there, you’ll have to sit outside at one of their picnic tables, but I enjoyed that as well. The food was great. If you are asian and love spicy food, definitely try the Lao papaya salad (I did ask them to make mine very spicy). They don't have a dine-in option, but there are tables in front of the store if you like to eat outside like us. For my preference, I wish the veggies could be cooked a little bit more. Other than that, we had a great dinner.

Praya Thai is a lovely hidden gem for Thai food. The food is great, fresh, and full of flavor. The menu is unique, and everything tastes FRESH. The Lao papaya salad is a must-try for those who love spicy food. The pad thai has great flavor, and the chicken curry noodle soup is so good. The summer rolls are fresh and delicious, and the chicken/shrimp pad Thai is fantastic. The Thai tea is amazing and perfect. The yellow curry and Thai salad are delicious, with really big proportions. The service is kind and helpful, making guests feel comfortable and welcome. There is no dine-in option, but there are picnic tables and tables in front of the store for eating outside. Some visits can be hit or miss, with slower service than expected, and some wish the veggies could be cooked a little more. Overall, it is one of the better Thai restaurants.
