Pulled Pork, was in no way pulled, it was composed of burnt ends They look like an item actually called exactly that, sold by food serve distributors. Mechanically cut 🤔. One BBQ squeeze bottle on the table, laden with high fructose corn syrup from bottled BBQ Sauce. They must have seen Megan Markles pretzel trick. Baked beans from a can. Cole Slaw could have used more acid, but was best thing on the tray . The butter for corn bread was nice. When the server mentioned something about the juice in the pork, I assured her there was no juice within a 6 foot radius from the table. Huge disappointment. Server offered to take money off bill or free dessert. I have been in the food business for over 40 years and always pay for the cost of goods. But this was not worth the $40 simply due to the ill-served meat. I’ve added a photo from online boasting about the pulled pork sandwich. My pulled pork did not resemble that in any way, shape, or form. No pickles, no white bread included as stated on menu. Have I mentioned disappointment? Once would not have been enough.

Walk in to this place for the first time and you will immediately be made to feel like you are at home. Fred the owner is either talking with one patron or serving another , and every staff member is vigilant to make sure all your needs are being taken care of. the food is impeccable pub grub with an upscale twist that will leave you happy you made the stop. I was so pleased I went back for their new breakfast menu, where I was so pleased to discover that all the items were less then 13$ I had the 8$ breakfast sandwich that came with homefries and a bloody Mary! Thanks again to Fred and all the staff.

Good price, good vibes, good service in this out of the way place. Chef knew how to cook and prepare the burger. Fries have a TAD bit more salt than usual. Service was great, building is pretty small for seating wise.

This place is A-MAZ-ING! I had gotten the pulled pork mac and cheese, it was seriously one of the best foods I've ever had! The portions were awesome with a lot of food! Some others at the table had gotten shrimp tacos and a smash burger and they were both so delicious 😋! Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. If you like seafood I highly recommend the shrimp tacos! Before we ate we were able to play some fun games and mind benders at the table! The service was fast, friendly, and very efficient as well. Everything is decorated super cool and it's a really groovy environment to eat! My meal itself was about 10-15$ which is a really good deal for the amazing food I received! The Bootleg BBQ is a real hidden gem and I enjoyed every moment here. ❤️ We will definitely be back!

MUST TRY! Had the tastiest meal at Bootleg while day tripping to Westport. The staff was so friendly and the smoked meat was incredible. The cocktails were also so delicious. A total gem finding this quality BBQ on the South Shore. If you’re hungry after a beach day at Horseneck, come here and you will not be disappointed. Cant wait to come back!

We got the dry rub wings and it was the crispiest and juiciest chicken wings I’ve ever had. The seasoning was perfect. The brisket poutine was amazing and the max and cheese was not the kind with fake cheese, it tasted like I was at my southern Grandmas house. Also, teenager approved!
What a great spot. We were going to the back eddy and they were closed for the season so we googled a spot and came here. How lucky we were the back eddy was closed. The spot is awesome, the staff is wonderful and the food was to die for .

I have eaten there twice, and enjoyed both meals. Very good French fries and burgers. I just had a pulled pork sandwich and it is AMOUNG the best I have ever eaten!! Service is awesome, and I feel comfortable there, ambience is wonderful. Next time I'll try the ribs!!!
