“I've got to say this brewery has to be one of the most beautiful in terms of space, landscaping, & old-school aesthetics. Originally an old dairy farm, this converted brewery/winery was a pleasure, especially in the beauty of NE fall! They had about 6 or 7 solid beers on tap, as well as couple nice wine options. Staff, as well as the locals, were very friendly and engaging! I'll be back for sure.”
“That's a dam fine cup of coffee! And the sandwiches are stellar. Where else can you get a French toast breakfast sandwich with maple syrup dipping sauce? Or for the healthy minded, a spinach, chickpea, avocado, zucchini wrap with pomegranate vinaigrette? Or a thanksgiving fill me up that fits in your hand? The menu is delicious and fits every taste and the coffee is everything your brain needs without you knowing it. Bonus points for super friendly attentive staff and wonderful owners!”
“Excellent fried oysters that were sweet and delicious. They also have a wide selection of local craft beers to cap off the good size portion of seafood. This a seasonal location so they are closed from 11/12 to sometime next spring.”
“Incredible experience here! I was very hungry after a long day and it was a half hour before the kitchen closing time. I called ahead and they assured me If I arrived before 8 pm I could order and eat without being rushed. That's what happened. Parked my car in the large free lot. Noted the cozy ambiance. Ordered the New England clam chowder classic and the pan-seared scallops. Very tasty meal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restroom was very clean. I will return when in the area!Side note: classic clam chowder is very rich. A lighter version as well on the menu would be appreciated.”
“Service was really excellent at this little restaurant, but maybe everything came out a little too fast. Food was very good, but over $200 for 2 people was a little high IMO for a casual eatery... though it is on the water and there really arent any other immediate options in that vicinity. Windows were dirty but the restaurant itself including table, plates, silverware, etc. was very clean, so I think that was because they just reopened from being closed for the winter. The phone wasn't working but they did respond to email very quickly when trying to make a reservation. Parking lot was jammed but there was a little spillover room at the boat ramp (this is off-season and in the evening so be aware that this is NOT going to be the case during the summer and during the day). Nice vibe, people were happy to be there and generally enjoying themselves. Overall, great little place, we had a very nice time, will definitely visit again if possible when next in the area.”
“The atmosphere is great ..they have good music playing ..sports on the TV.. great for the family to enjoy a meal or out on a date or with friends. Mix drinks are yummy and the food is really really good ..and the service is amazing ..always greeting with a smile when you walk in like you are stepping into their home not a restaurant and great attitudes to match..I would recommend this place 100%”
“Great place to get BIG FRESH sandwiches and soup. The meats are extraordinary, especially the bone in pork chops and steaks. The grab and go meals are perfect for a home cooked meal without having to cook.”
“Great local pizza. Good value. The gyros are tasty. I very much enjoy a meatball calzone or the churicco and chips pizza. Soda here is bottled and fairly expensive.”
“What a diamond, my son & I were in town from Baltimore. We sat at the bar. I had the fish and chips, super yummy.I wish I remembered all the ladies names because the bartender & staff were absolutely delightful.I hope to go back when visiting family.”
“I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza plus chicken wings. The hostess was very courteous and said it would take about 20 minutes. My pizza was ready on time but I had to wait an extra approximate 10 minutes for the wings. The pizza was excellent but the wings were over cooked. I enjoyed the pizza and will order it again but not the wings.”
“The Westporter is a cozy little spot in the heart of Westport. With it being winter time, the ambiance is set with a fireplace and soft lighting. Danielle was an amazing bartender and absolutely on point at all times. I did not get a chance to try any food this time, but having attended their catering events in the past, I would imagine that their restaurant food would be just as outstanding as I remember their catering menu to be.”
“i was skeptical to order with all the mixed reviews but i took a chance. nothing wrong with my order everything came out wonderful, i believe i found my new go to pizza place. the delivery service was fast and they called me to say there here. what and awesome pi day dinner.”
“Great ice cream and the service is quick and polite. I know it’s tough to find good help, but they managed to have found it. Great place toBring your family for some ice cream, and the clam cakes are amazing.”
“I've been to this fantastic Portuguese restaurant several times and typically sit either at the bar or lounge. Today I chose the dining room. My go-to has always been the swordfish and Portuguese style clams, except tonight. My wife had the shish kebab and I had the octopus. Outstanding! Most importantly, the dining room service is less "harried" and the servers can be more attentive. Ask for Joe on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. He rocks.”
“This is the absolute best kind of mom and pop place there can be. The second you walk in it just feels like home, there's pictures of their family on the wall and the lobby just looks incredible. The food is out of this world! I get the chicken Alfredo broccoli pizza and the big Mac pizza and they are both so delicious ?. The service is great as well they always greet you the second you walk in and they're very kind people that do an amazing job!”
