I am a fan of the ordinary. Ordinary good food prepared with quality ingredients and superior recipies. It does not have to be exotic or innovative. It does have to be tasty and well prepared. The Kozy Nook has that. I have enjoyed several of their many lunch and dinner choices and my only complaint was when I ordered the "Baked Stuffed Fish" and discovered when it was served that it had a marinara sauce on top. Tried the pot roast dinner that you can only get on Tuesdays. Cost was $14, and it came with a generous thin slice of pot roast, 3-4 small white potatoes, onion, celery and sliced carrots.The pot roast arrived at the table with liquid under the food from how the food was cooked. Brown gravy needs to be requested, and I felt that the small gravy portion was not sufficient for one person, let alone the two of us. What a diamond, my son & I were in town from Baltimore. We sat at the bar. I had the fish and chips, super yummy.I wish I remembered all the ladies names because the bartender & staff were absolutely delightful.I hope to go back when visiting family.
