“Such a neat spot right on the water. Got to sit in some Adirondack chairs and eat some Bliss ice cream - so yummy! And a kayaking place right across the street. Made for a really fun day with our kids. We will absolutely be back.“
“I was more than satisfied and grateful for the cake Lauren made on our wedding day. First of all we had the hardest time deciding on a flavor/frosting bc they were all so delicious. We chose a 3 tier cake with 2 flavors, one was rosé all day, and the other was vanilla bean cake with creme Brule filling. The cake went so fast, everyone raved about it. She also garnished it with fresh flowers from our florist Red Velvet florist. I didn't take many pictures and didn't get my pictures from photographer yet, I only have the photos that other people took. But I would highly recommend her for a wedding cake or even a holiday cake or French macarons. I've tried it all! Everything Lauren makes is delightful:)“

“I was visiting the area and decided to go to Tia Maria’s in New Bedford for breakfast. I had the most amazing Natas of my life.
I wanted to order a dozen right there and then and they did not have enough.
Then I was sent to the source! This bakery is overall amazing. I came for the natas and came out with more bread than I should have lol
The costumer service was phenomenal. Payment can be made in cash or card.
I will definitely go back when I visit the area.“

“The bread is ridiculously good and the woman who works there is wonderfully helpful. She even called another bakery to help us find something we were looking for that she was out of and have us directions how to get there. The biggest loaf of bread I've ever bought cost $2.50! And it was so good that we drove 90 minutes a week later to go buy more.“

“Cookies were good but always sold out of something, also waited a hour and a half for a 6 pack one time which is ridiculous, they use to do curb side pickup which was great but they stopped doing that.

“We went with Confections Bakery for our wedding cake. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. We decided on the lemon-raspberry with buttercream. “I lived near Snell street for 11 years now, I am 14 now. And this is one of the best stores i grew up with, I come here daily and they have all the good stuff with the perfect price, Everyone is very nice, Including Rei. I might come back here in a few months or next year, Lifes kinda tough at these times. Stay safe.“
“Although these are the ONLY crumpets I've ever had, they quickly became my favorite breakfast. I eat these several times a week, and now that I've learned that they are local, I'll be continuing (happily) to support their business. Way better than English muffins. Hard to describe but they are delicious. I toast in my Ninja Air Fryer for 3:30 on each side (flip over), then eat with butter and strawberry jam.“

“We ordered cookies from Black Tie Cookies for our son's rehearsal dinner. They were delicious and received much praise from our guests, especially for the lemon cookies. There wasn't one cookie left at the end of the evening! Each cookies was individually wrapped which was great because we had 2 guests who have gluten allergies. The owner offers a gluten friendly option of which we included some in our order. She also offers personalized stickers for the tops of the cookie wrappers and did a great job designing one that matched the evening's theme. I highly recommend them for any event you have planned.“

Parking: They're located on a small corner street, so parking can be difficult if you don't want to walk a little bit, but don't let that stop you from going. The food is very good.“
“I've never actually been to the bakery myself. But I definitely will be making a stop. Every time I'm in my hometown of Uncasville CT we make a stop at ocean state job lot just for the Portuguese sweet bread and muffins. This is the only place I've ever seen them sold. We stock up on the and bring them home to Florida. They are the best. I only wish they'd shipped their items. But definitely recommend the sweet bread and muffins to everyone.“
