We haven’t eaten here since the new owners took over a year ago. We went with two adult kids and three grandkids. All 7 of us sat in a very nice outside eating area. Our server greeted us with a huge smile. My wife and I shared a fish taco and opted for the pan seared cod over fried. We also shared sides of asparagus, a salad, and mashed potatoes. When it came out, we realized that we over ordered. The portions are enormous. Each dish was excellent in terms of flavor and freshness. My foodie daughter in law ordered a wedge salad with a side of salmon. She was surprised how well the salmon was prepared…perfectly! It was a terrific experience. We come to Westport, MA often and this will be on our go to list.g

Wow! Is all I could say when my food arrived..... I ordered the fried chicken and biscuits and it was beyond delicious, the mashed potatoes were home made a long with the chicken batter and biscuits....The food came out so hot and fresh and not like it was sitting under a heat lamp hot like fresh from the oven hot! The batter on the chicken omg so crispy.... Definitely a must try and I will be back again

Nice little restaurant. The waitress, Liz, was very kind! The food was in surprisingly large portions which was awesome ? it was all very good. Liz and the I assume the chef, were helpful, welcoming, and very nice. God bless you!

Small gem of a restaurant tucked into Westport, MA. Chef Luke Canterbery provides a varied and homemade menu that mixes gourmet with hometown fare. Their salmon over street corn risotto and cauliflower steak are two of my favorites! Tonight they had homemade creamsicle gelato - YUMMM. The service is friendly, atmosphere clean and comfortable. We have also purchased catering food (large tray of their pulled pork) with the best BBQ sauce ever (Luke makes his own). 5 stars from us! So happy to have such a great restaurant close to home :)

Apparently not always open on their posted hours. Got great bbq from here last time I stopped by but forgot half the sides. Really hopeful going forward that’s why I keep trying to come before 8.

My friend and I were looking for a lunch spot in the Adamsville area and decided to try Small Town Grill when we spied it as we were driving. It was there that I had the BEST wedge salad ever...and I am 75 yrs young! I added salmon to the salad for a heartier lunch selection and it was the BEST. My friend chose the same thing, and we were humming through the entire lunch between bites. The lettuce was crisp, the bacon was yummy and the homemade dressing was exceptional. I am going to try and replicate it when I get home. As we were leaving, I asked the server how the salmon was prepared and the cook came out and explained the process. It was prepared in a cast iron pan with a little bit of olive oil and then gently simmered and then flipped and eventually covered. It was wonderful. Both my friend and I said that had we not been full, we would have ordered it again while seated. If this menu item is an example of what the kitchen prepares, I cannot wait to go back, but I will most likely order the wedge salad with salmon again! Do try Small Town Grill; it may be "small own", but it has a "big town" flavor! You will not be disappointed.

Didn't get our food. It went to the wrong table and they apologized to them instead of us. They had just sat down! They never came back over to us...so we left.Hope to try again though. I believe in 2nd chances for new spots. But would have liked my eggs.

I was doing work in the area and needed lunch. I was on a special diet and went here to see if they would do what I needed. Well they did. I ordered a greens salad and wanted 2 burger Patty’s on it cooked medium rare. It was so delicious. I never write reviews but I was so happy I wanted to share. I will definitely be back after my diet is over. Their menu looked awesome.

Very confusing place. Went once for lunch and was told only serving breakfast so we left. Next time we went I couldn't believe the options for lunch, 4 sandwiches and 2 soups the rest was breakfast food. I ordered the cheeseburger which was good but get your act together if you want to stay in business. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunches.

We chose this restaurant because it was open and it seemed everything else was closed in the off-season. The burger was delicious, the fish tacos were excellent, and the clam chowder was some of the best I've ever had. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Will definitely return if we're in the area again.

The former Marguerite's Restaurant that I frequented while I was Town Administrator for Westport. This was my 1st visit to Small Town Grill... and we will be back! Lauretta loved her fried chicken sandwich with clam chowder, and I my French Onion soup. The chicken sandwich was so huge that I had half. Immaculately clean place. They will be opening soon with breakfast. When that occurs, Small Town Grill will be THE place to dine anytime!

Tonight I had one of the specials, Bourbon Pork Loin with grilled peaches, and got asparagus and potato croquettes as sides. Everything was delicious, and of the best quality. Good choices for local craft beverages. I had CT Valley Spiked Lemonade which was described as a smoothie, and had bits of real fruit pulp. The waitress said it was really good, and she was not wrong. A shared piece of 7 layer chocolate cake ended things nicely. Service was excellent (sorry I don't remember the waitresses name). I would recommend this fine casual restaurant to anyone who asks.

Fantastic new local restaurant! Have been several times and tried lots of different dishes. Everything is super fresh. Local, hometown feel with upscale food. I highly recommend the chowder and fish and chips. Service also very friendly. Will be back. A+.
