We love Farmhouse Baking Co.!!! Came to know them from the Hingham Farmers Marker a few years ago and we haven’t had a purchase yet that wasn’t delicious. Our kids always try to battle us for the treats- macarons, whoopie pies…and now that they’ve expanded to include things like tiramisu, lemon squares, cheesecake bites- let’s just say we go through them quickly. One of my favorite additions that they have included is the prepared meals- homemade and delicious dishes like lasagna and shepherd’s pie, which makes for a very easy (and very tasty) meal for my kids on a weekend night when we need something quick when I’m exhausted and my husband is at work! went here with high hopes as the store itself was really cute. unfortunately, my experience was not as cute. i may have caught them on an off day but regardless. i went in for a milkshake and wasn't even greeted by the employee at the counter. couldn't catch her name either. thought that based on the really delicious looking milkshake the people right in front of me got, i would be getting something similar, but i did NOT. i asked for the 16oz and was told that 16 was not an option, even though it was on the board with no editing to tell me. however, i just sucked it up and paid two extra (wasted) dollars for 4oz more. while making my milkshake, she told me they ran out of vanilla icecream, while legitimately having another container right next to her, unopened. i asked if she could just charge me for the 16oz, considering i barely even got half and just wanted my milkshake. she told me this wasn't possible and tried to charge me $7.25 for the photo attached. i only took a small sip and then threw it away. the spoon was visibly unwashed in between the milkshakes for me and the person earlier mentioned who was in front of me. (they got MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP.) (hint; that did not mix well with my vanilla shake.) i had to leave with hardly half of a terrible milkshake coated in whipped cream to try and give some consolation. had to beg to pay for the $5.25 which this was barely even worth. won't be back here again

I can’t get enough of this place! The storefront is adorable. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Their to go meals are amazing esp the chicken pot pie and shepherds pie (they sell out so fast because they’re so good!). Any of the baked goods we’ve had are high quality and delicious. I personally love the m&m cookies and the variety of whoopie pies. Everything is fresh, homemade, and tastes great. Highly recommend checking out and supporting this family owned business!

We have tried almost everything that Jess has made, went today and found the Almond cake and as usual it was just as awesome as everything else we have tried it will be hard now to decide when we go again whoopie pies or Almond cake.
