If you are in the mood for Indian food, eat at Taj Modern on the Southshore in Weymouth. The food is freshly prepared and flavorful, and portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. If you come between 11:00-2:00 luncheon prices are available. The staff are very helpful and attentive. It's a basic atmosphere but the tables and chairs are comfortable for eating there. Give Taj Modern a try if you are looking for an excellent place to eat Indian food.

My 3rd time here and the experience gets better with each meal. Every item is scrumptious and the portions are generous...so more to enjoy! Have tried a vegetarian dish with cauliflower, the Special Biryani with rice, shrimp,fish,lamb,beef, herbs and spices, Lamb Tikki Masala, Naan and most recently Dal Soup and Goat Tikki Masala. I am so happy to have discovered how good the food is here after years living nearby and not frequenting until my neighbor informed me about the high...

The staff was very friendly and attentive. It had music, but it wasn't too loud. The food was very good. Lots of flavor. Would recommend coming here for good Indian food. We will definitely be returning.
