Today around 6:00 PM, I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at the Dunkin’ located at 811 Bedford Street in Whitman. I pulled into the drive-thru to place a food order—well within business hours, since the store clearly states it closes at 7:00 PM. However, I was abruptly told by the team member working the drive-thru that “the food court is closed” and they are only serving bakery items at that time.
Confused, I asked for clarification since the store wasn’t closing for another hour. Instead of offering any real explanation, she kept talking over me while I was still trying to communicate—incredibly dismissive and unprofessional behavior. Frustrated, I decided to leave, but as I turned my car and looked at the window, I noticed a Caucasian woman with pale black and green hair waving at me in a sarcastic, mocking way. It felt intentionally disrespectful and unnecessary.
This prompted me to park and walk into the store to address the issue directly. As soon as I entered, it was as if the employees scattered and went into hiding. I stood there for about five minutes, calling out for assistance before anyone finally came forward. When I asked for the name of the employee who was on drive-thru, I was told they “couldn’t give it out” for privacy reasons. Fair enough—but then I asked who I could speak to about filing a complaint, and the employee said, “the manager.” When I requested the manager’s phone number, he disappeared again—likely to consult with the employee in question—and eventually returned with what turned out to be a fake number that goes straight to voicemail.
This was not just bad customer service—this was a blatant display of disrespect, deception, and disregard for both the customer and the company. The staff decided to stop serving food an hour early, waved mockingly at a customer, refused accountability, and even provided false contact information when questioned. How is this acceptable?
I had no choice but to report the incident to Dunkin’s corporate office. For a company as established as Dunkin’, this kind of behavior should never be tolerated. This location is clearly costing the brand money and trust by unilaterally deciding when and how they want to operate, and treating customers like a nuisance.
Avoid this store at all costs. Worst Dunkin’ experience I’ve ever had.

Very Rushy and was kinda of rude rushed me out of the line and gave me a bad attitude . Spilled the drink all over my partner as they passed it through the window…Gave me wrong total at window . At least they made my drink right but then I realized they forgot my donut and I had to drive all the way back there & was still given attitude as she checked to make sure I wasn’t lying why would I lie about a donut !? Rude will not be coming again :/ & also I asked them to put extra cream cheese on my bagel and they did not put an effort to even put the cream cheese on my bagel ? very disappointed ☹️

today i went to dunkin in whitman with my sister and had a great experience with James! our drink was a little off and when i asked for a new one i felt so bad, but they made it with no worries! they even fixed the other drink so my sister and i could both enjoy! they were so kind and a great example for their other coworker, who asked to watch how to prepare our refresher. all the other workers on this shift were all doing good too! joking around with each other and getting everything done quick, great people! if you visit this dunkin and see James make sure to throw some money in that tip jar, they're doing great!

They are often out of some of the favorite items like certain donuts or promotional flavors, other than that they are just mediocre imo.
Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I know that they do offer vegetarian choices.
Dietary restrictions: Although you need to ask for a specific substitution in your coffee, they seem to have just about everything you would want.
I don't understand how it's so difficult to actually toast a bagel. If i wanted a cold non toasted bagel I would just eat at home. Also when it literally says extra toasted on the paper slip and it looks like they didn't do anything is ridiculous. And a simple order of butter is apparently also to hard because the amount of times i get cream cheese instead of absurd. And they can never get my donut order right. No matter what donut I order I still end up with whatever random one they decide I actually wanted. I would give 0 stars if I could because other places can take orders and produce food but this place acts like it's impossible to do that

I go here for coffee and it's totally magical. Every time, without fail, it spills up through the side where the lid is and burns my finger and that sure wakes me up! I thought it was just this location that had the special lids that don't work properly and give you that little jolt of scald but it seems that every Dunks has these!
Hope this is the Dunkin I think it is. My favorite Dunkin by a mile. Coffee always good and they have some unusual bakery offerings, I think they do market testing there.

They asked me twice what I was waiting for in the window. Then proceeded to tell me they were out of the specialty donut, the salted caramel cold brew (two things I ordered) and my food was ice cold. It’s absolutely disgusting that the manager does not try to make her store better. Its not the teenagers fault, it is poor management. I spent $13 on food and drinks. Everything I ordered was either replaced or ice cold. It’s incredibly frustrating as a local to have to deal with somewhere who doesn’t care to make customers happy.
