Nellie Rose - The Farm House is a solid breakfast and lunch spot with a country style atmosphere. The diner type food is simple and traditional, with a focus on big breakfast plates. The food is awesome, superb, and amazing, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Portion sizes are larger than usual, giving you a ton of food with no skimping. The big breakfast plate is very large, and the cornbread is massive. Some items are very good while others are alright, but customers have never been unsatisfied. The staff are incredibly kind, efficient, friendly, and super friendly, offering a welcoming environment and exceptional service. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. The atmosphere is great, with trains everywhere and a variation of seating arrangements. There is plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable and great, not outrageous. It is an easy to find location on Route 18 in Whitman.
