Man the guy at the front counter was impeccable and incredibly handsome. 10/10 if yk what I mean! Couldn’t have asked for a better lunch.

I have been a loyal customer of Pappa Charlie’s going on 20 years but over the last month my loyalty is starting to shift to Spring Street Market…the sandwiches are great but the service has gone severely down hill. Twice over the last month I have called in to place and order to only get a busy signal for an hour straight which made drive down to try and get my sandwich. The first time it was “closed for maintenance” and the second time they “couldn’t make any more sandwiches at this time” and told me to come back in 30 minutes. Issues happen but inconveniencing customer for no reason isn’t a good look for a business. Set up a voicemail or automated message to inform customers of issues and if you can’t take orders still take the calls and simply tell people instead of leaving them in the dark. I have also found the it is rarely stocked with drinks and chips the way it used to be and orders I have placed have been wrong on a higher than average rate. I really like their sandwiches but I value consistency and transparency and frankly spring street market is currently a better option

From the moment we walked (or wheeled in - mom was in a wheelchair), Troy helped make our experience a pleasureable one. Friendly conversation, inexpensive pricing, good quality food in a very casual setting made for a lovely quick bite. Portions were generous and we ended up taking half home. Two thumbs up all around.

My poor wife. The turkey sandwich was so thick that she had to deconstruct it to eat it. Not that I really noticed; she ate it that quickly. My “Langella” sandwich (roast beef, melted cheese, onion, and pepper … the sandwiches are named after famous personalities) was devoured in similar fashion (by me, not her … didn’t take chances of eating slowly). While eating, Troy kept u a steady stream of conversation that made us feel welcomed. He, Seth and Bryan are a terrific team that truly takes care of customers! Pappa Charlie’s Deli truly gets my gold standard of recommendation without hesitation!

$9.50 for the most MEDIOCRE bagel ever…menu clearly says $6 but i was overcharged…what’s worse is that the bagel wasn’t even all that good. it had missing ingredients and was of subpar quality…how do you mess up a bagel with bean sprouts, cucumber, tomato, and cream cheese??? that’s FOUR ingredients. i do not recommend at all. i don’t know what happened but this degradation in quality is extremely sad to see.

STAY AWAY - go to spring street instead!!! Genuinely TERRIBLE food and service. $10 will get you way farther elsewhere if you’re going to spend it anyway. They don’t GAF about the food they’re serving at all and you can tell…Will scam you $10 for the worst sandwich of your life. If you want a BLT with no mayo, 1 shriveled piece of bacon, and a the end of a tomato butt with some stem come here 🤩

I love getting bagels and sandwiches here for any meal of the day. There is definitely a large selection here to choose from, but you can most definitely design your own. Definitely try some of their daily soups! There arent a lot of seats, so be prepared to take your food to go.

I called to order sandwiches for lunch and the male on the other end of the phone was rude. I had two coworkers go and pick up the order and they came back saying the staff was completely rude and in fact threw the sauces in the bag. They were not busy and in fact not doing anything at all.

On a snowy morning we discovered Pappa Charlie's. What an amazing selection of great sandwitches! Made with care and carefully sourced ngredients, just perfect. A sustantial vegetarian menu is appreciated. Coffee was also good, as was the kind staff. Will be back, no doubt!
