I recently moved out of the Berkshires and I miss Spice Root so much! The food is always delicious, fresh, and high quality. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly and helpful. If you're unfamiliar, I highly recommend you visit and support this wonderful local business.
I have been to Indian restaurants around the world, from Bangalore to New York City. I never expected to find my favorite one in the heart of the Berkshires, in Williamstown. The food—the coconut chicken curry in particular—was delicious, flavored with the perfect proportion of oil and spice; I ate here for two months straight as a visiting student at Williams College and am pleased to say that the dish quality was consistent and excellent every time.
