“I've been going to Simards for 20+ years and prefer it to other local roast beef places because they remain friendly and affordable despite the changing times. The drive thru sign needs major renovations (like lights) but I don't come for a drive thru sign I come for a decent roast beef sando with fries and a drink. There is always someone friendly working the window and the cost does not break the bank like a similar places like this.“

I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. We’ve been picking our pizza usually but yesterday i felt like having it delivered and didn’t want to go out. “First time at a CAVA, it was okay. I couldn't tell you what was in my bowl, but it didn't taste bad. It was kinda like a Chipotle, but without the beans and more salad like. I was okay with this, but was looking for something warm, not cold food. By the time you put toppings and romaine in the bowl the meat is cool too.

“My hubby is the manager at Antons cleaners next door to liberty and when I come in with him on early days etc etc, I always- I mean ALWAYS people!- get us liberty bell for lunch. It’s the best roast beef sandwich you can find and it’s consistently made the same way so you can expect that high quality with every order honestly. Their online ordering is smooth and simple and they’re super safe upon pickup and following any and every Covid precaution there is! The calzone was fully stuffed and exactly what I ordered. The Greek salad was amazing too. Fantastic portion sizes, extremely timely, and the perfect takeout place! “Another gem in Saugus when you compare takeout places. Homemade Greek style pizza from scratch is certainly the best thing on the menu. Everything is cheap and freshly made. Most of the menu are things made from scratch. They even have their own recipes from their chicken and steak marinade to their own red sauce they put on their pizzas and all their parmesan dishes. The owner is an outstanding gentleman that cares more about the customers than anything else. The place is very clean and the cooks in the back are very talented. If there ever is a problem with the order, the staff, including the owner will usually go out of their way to fix it for you. I encourage you to give them a try.“

“Obsessed with their smoothies. I’m a loyal customer who frequently visits. The major issue I have is they are unwilling to share the nutritional value of the smoothies. I track my macros and calories and have done my own back end assumptions based on what I order but it would be really helpful if they provided the facts. I’ve asked several times and I get different answers on the amount of protein fat etc as a health food shop they should provide this. Again the food itself is excellent. If anyone finds the nutrition value please do let me know!“
