I can't remember what the fish stew was called, but it was something I still think about years later. The fish was simply chucked up, bones and all and simmered. The flavor was so unusual, the portion was huge.
I went here not long before closing and it was quiet- to Portuguese men sitting at the bar, chatting with the waiter. The place is small, very cozy on a winter night. Fado music played softly.
I was happy to have randomly stopped here while working in the area.
My Avó would have loved this place! Definitely my new favorite when I'm traveling to the area. Wonderful staff, delicious authentic food, almost like being with my family.
Authentic delicious food. Best bife I've ever had
This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in a long time. The food was amazing, flavorful excellent. The staff was welcoming and so nice . The atmosphere is great, very cozy and nicely decorated. We were a group of seven and everyone loved their food, our waiter, the wine, everything!
Wonderful and delicious Portuguese food, very friendly staff and free parking!
I highly recommend it! 🍷

I loved the experience at this amazing place. These smaller places always have a special charm. Gabriel ordered a pork fillet with potatoes, which was delicious. I also tried the crab cake, which was quite tasty. Overall, the cozy atmosphere and authentic dishes made the visit worthwhile, even though the sausage wasn’t my favorite.

Big disappointment
The steak Adega was the worst I ever had in the entire Portuguese restaurants in the New England area ( burned, greasy and felt like chewing gum). The Carne Alentejana was ok but the potatoes were undercooked, the bread was really hard...overall it was a big NO. Just go to the shout shore if you want to have some good Portuguese food.
