The food here is great but the last few times I've visited the dining area has been disgusting...food on the floors, uncleaned tables, and overflowing garbage. I know there are lots of staff shortages, but if the dining area is so unkempt it makes me wonder about the kitchen.

The food is really good, but beware ordering online from this restaurant. They don’t care to do a good job bundling everything together for the delivery people, and then they blame them when you don’t get half your order. When I called to complain, the person I spoke to could have cared less. He didn’t bother to look into my order, didn’t ask for my name or anything, just blamed the delivery guy. This isn’t the first time.

The first time I tried Cava, I was amazed by the food and how it tasted. But later when we ordered online it was not up to the mark and there were some things missing as well in the order. That's why I am a little disappointed. We made it our go to place but with the service and food quality, we decided not to eat at Cava anymore. Recently I ordered through Uber. The grain bowls were cold and felt stale. Or maybe food quality differs from store to store. I would recommend going to the restaurant and ordering in person instead of an online order.

Going to stop coming here on certain days and go to Shake Shack or Maki Maki. Some employees are rockstars, you have my business only on those days. This is constructive criticism. From a business perspective this is what could be done better. Say your order something; your allowed to pick something from each section. Some of those items are more or less expensive to the company. Some people let you ask to double up on a cheap thing like a base item if you tell them you want none of expensive stuff like toppings, avocado, and etc filling the meal. The people that think on their feet notice that "technically this makes us more money". They will do it. This isn't always the case, depends on the person. Some follow policy exactly. The problem arrises if they follow policy exactly. Twice I got something not even filled half way. If you want less of certain things your still paying the full price and you will get less food. If you ask to fill the bowl with something cheaper like a base that cost extra even though your only getting two things. I feel hungry after eating less than a half bowl of food. Not worth the price. Even 2/3rds full would be nice, not 1/3rd full. This is a constructive criticism of the policies not the employees. It's unfair to punish them for following orders. It's also unfair to punish other employees for someone that is doing a better job then the rest at thinking on their feet. I posted this on a random day and changed some detail to protect the employees in question.

Sometimes I feel like they don't put enough food for the price we pay. Like the bowl I got from the Woburn location is only maybe 60% full...Although the quality is usuallt decent but I get disappointed once in a while, like today. The beef cubes in the steak mezze salad were absolutely inedible- rigid, strigy and not chewable. I have been ordering from Cava a year now, but will stop.

1/18/2024 - OMG. the food is so good! i got a Balsamic Date Chicken bowl - (grilled chicken, eggplant dip, red pepper hummus, corn, brown rice, spinach, balsamic date vinaigrette, more). I got the dressing on the side when asked. I chatted with the friendly woman who filled my order, asking what she recommends and how lucky they all were to eat this food every day! When I got to the counter, the Cashier just MADE MY DAY! The company allows them to randomly choose a customer to push the "heart button" or was it "love button" for To offer a meal up for free! I was blown away - I was not having the best day, so to be granted and chosen for this act of kindness, just changed my mood immediately. Thank you for choosing me. That was my 3rd item to try on their menu and cant wait to try more.

[vegetarian friendly] Cava's fresh, flavorful Mediterranean fare is undeniable. Each bite of a build-your-own bowl or savory pita bursts with vibrant flavors and quality ingredients. I can't fault the food – it's truly a step above your average fast-casual experience. However, the dining experience at Cava falls short when it comes to service. The rush-through ordering process feels more like a transaction than a culinary journey. The staff, while efficient, often comes across as impatient and disinterested in guiding customers through the menu's plethora of options. I felt pressured to make quick decisions, leaving little room for exploration or customization. This is a shame, as Cava's menu offers endless possibilities for personalization.
