We called a day in advance to make a reservation, but when we arrived at the scheduled time, we still had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone assisted us. The place was empty, and there was no one at the front desk. We arrived with cakes and balloons for a birthday celebration, and all our guests were left standing with us at the entrance while everyone looked over, still with no staff to greet or guide us. We ended up asking the bartender for help, and he was the one who showed us to our seats. The space itself is great for hosting a birthday party, but the food definitely needs more attention. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. Five people in our group became sick for a couple of days afterward. It seemed like the food wasn't prepared properly, or perhaps the oil was old. We ordered different dishes, and none of them lived up to the price. Everyone experienced headaches and nausea when we got home, causing some of us to miss work and school. On a positive note, our waitress was excellent and gave us all the attention we needed throughout the meal.

Our experience was really disappointing. Almost every order came out wrong and everything took forever we even had to get up to get our own water. Our waiter, made several mistakes, spilled drinks, and after I canceled a wrong chicken order, he gave me a bad look and refused to keep serving our table. Then, we saw the staff gathering, talking, and pointing toward us, which felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. We were patient and polite the entire time, but sadly the whole experience left us feeling very unwelcome specially when the responsible came to say “the waiter is feeling uncomfortable to attend your table” and left.

It started off rocky when we checked in for our reservation for 15 people made weeks ago. We were told we were added to a 45 minute waitlist despite our reservation. The manager on Sunday came right to the rescue. She sat us at 1pm as our reservation had been booked. Our server Matt (short for a longer name) was great as he juggled many tables including our large group. He apologized for any delays due to bar being backed up! We were nervous at the beginning when we were told they were short staffed and busy. But between the accommodating manager and our great server, we had a fun time eating, drinking, and playing!

Several in our party arrived early and sat at bar for a drink while watching the big screens. Bar was very understaffed and it took about 30' to get their round of drinks. We checked in with host 15 minutes early for our reservations and then had to wait about 30' to get our table. Our appetizers while tasty were not as hot as expected. The entrees menu had plenty of selections and our food was good. Drinks were well priced. The games side of Dave & Busters had something for everyone and we enjoyed a couple hours of fun . Note. We may not be their target audience as we were an older group and all family. Overall, we had a good night. I recommend everyone go there at least once and decide for yourselves

Food was okay. Nothing great, about what you would expect for an arcade.

Little mishap has host seated us in a closed section. Waitress recovered nicely but experience was hindered a tad from the start.

Fun place for my teenage grandkids to have some fun and some great food and without the ride up to the beach.

The arcade is very fun. Food is more average. The beer selection is good. I would go in the morning when it's less crowded.

I never thought I would write a review for a specific D&B in particular but one employee (I think a manager, he was in all black with a mic?) went above and beyond to help my fiancé and I when a game wasn’t working correctly. I know it’s totally trivial but I was NOT expecting that kind of service at all. Usually I just see bare minimum so that was super nice. Other than him, based on my several visits to this location, one employee at the winner’s circle consistently acts like he hates his life and another game tech really needs someone to give him deodorant. Other than that, pleasant staff, food is average with other locations. Oh and the zombie snatcher is broken (as in there’s no letters at all anymore).

We recently got the Gold Summer Passes which allow you to rack up 1000pts weekly. When we first got them, the workers there told us we could transfer points off our gold passes onto regular passes and that the week resets on Sunday. We ended up having to talk to a manager because no, you cannot transfer points or they may cancel your cards and no, the points reset on Monday. I wish this info was available and the staff were trained to answer these questions because it was upsetting for my kids to be told that they can’t get any points.

Mixed Experience – Disappointing Visit After a Great One

We attended two kids’ birthday parties this past weekend—same franchise, two different locations on consecutive days—and the difference between them was night and day.

The Braintree location was excellent. The food was unexpectedly delicious, the staff was attentive, and the service was smooth. It felt like a well-run, family-friendly environment, and we had a wonderful time. Everything felt organized, and it set the tone for what we thought would be a consistently great experience with this franchise.

Unfortunately, the next day at this Woburn location it was a complete letdown. The place seemed understaffed, and right from the start, we were greeted at the bar by a bartender who had almost finished his shift was nice enough to share he is alone and juggling around….and than comes this bartender who just started her shift but was already shockingly rude and dismissive. She lacked basic courtesy and communication, and instead of welcoming guests, she went as far as to publicly confront and kick out a family from the bar seating area, telling them, “You can’t just come and sit here—you need to wait to be seated,” even though no one had been at the counter to help us or them for over 10 minutes. The bar was nearly empty, so her attitude was uncalled for and completely unnecessary.

The food served in the party hall was cold and dry, which was disappointing but still could have been overlooked—had the service not been so poor. The bar experience truly ruined the vibe for our group. We ended up leaving the bar early and reported the issue to the manager, who was considerate and genuinely concerned, which we appreciated.

That said, families come here to celebrate milestones and make lasting memories, and experiences like this tarnish the whole purpose. I truly hope the management addresses the staffing and training issues, because until then, I can’t recommend this location.
one last thing to add as its a kids play area franchise they literally should have a strict NO SMOKING sign at the entrance door seriously its a common civic sense for real people need SIGNS for everything…..
