Tried it for the first time today. I really enjoyed the Hot Sour hand pulled noodle soup. I got extra noodles and medium spice. I will definitely be ordering again. The broth was packed with flavor, it all arrived hot and well packed. Give it a try.
Always fantastic food. Always. It’s Xi’anese, and they don’t offer any “American Comfort” food, to quote the nearby (and excellent) Sichuan Garden menu, but if you want flavors like cilantro, chile, vinegar, Chinese chive, fermented mustard and rich, flavorful stock, coupled with perfectly chewy noodles and opulent dumplings, this place is for you. I believe it’s still cash only. Expect about $11-12 per person.
Delish! Amazing big yummy homemade noodles topped with seasoned pork and fresh herbs. Loaded with garlic and chili.

Gene's Chinese Flatbread Cafe offers quick service, but customers must use iPads to order, which comes with a $0.99 fee. The house noodle is a standout, with a slightly salty flavor, and hand-pulled noodles can be made spicy upon request. The restaurant serves a variety of soups, including the popular #16 Hot and Sour noodle soup, and has a strong focus on authentic flavors from Western China, especially Xi’an. Visitors can enjoy delicious lamb skewers and flatbread lamb sandwiches, reflecting the Muslim influence in the area. The atmosphere is overall welcoming, although the service and bathrooms have received mixed reviews. The restaurant's fast, convenient, and unique dishes make it a favorite for noodle lovers and those wanting to try something different.
