Asian food is as complex as it is diverse. One of the underrepresented areas of Chinese cuisine is Western China, in particular the city of Xi’an. Gene captures the flavor and unique ingredients in this area. Don't come here looking for your favorite rice dish. You won't find it. Do open your experience to hand-pulled noodles. I have been going to Gene's for years back in the Chelmsford location as well as the Westford one and now I have to make the trip out to Woburn every once in awhile. The hand pulled noodles are amazing in the dumpling soup is one of my favorites. A+

Delicious as usual. Order at the counter and pick up your meal when it's done. Cash only. Listen to the noodle maker stretch and then slap freshly made dough into noodles while you're eating.

There is a limited menu with both hot noodle soups, cold noodle dishes and a few other options.
