Hostess catered my vegetarian partner's 50th birthday this weekend, and they were AMAZING. Great to work with from start to finish. Tina was almost more like an event planner for me than simply catering - we didn't have to worry about furniture rental, they were able to organize the alcohol and provide a bartender - everything we needed.There were so many DELICIOUS vegetarian options, which was very important to us. Guests were surprised and delighted by the tiny grilled cheese sandwiches in tomato soup shots. I've been accused of setting the bar too high for everyone else's parties by hiring Hostess.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and just a joy to have as a part of our event. We would hire Hostess again in a heartbeat.

I needed to plan a wedding for my daughter in just six weeks. Fortunately I contacted Hostess Catering in Woburn to arrange for a small reception at my home. Donna came to our house two weeks before the wedding and gave us suggestions and helped my daughter and I plan the menu of passed appetizers and small plates. When we returned from the wedding service the guests were enjoying many delicious items beautifully set out around our home. They raved about the food and presentation and the courteous and friendly servers. Donna, the owner of the business made sure everything went smoothly. Before they left they cleaned up everything and stored all the leftovers for us. I would highly recommend Hostess Catering to anyone who wants a well run carefree catered experience.

I had the pleasure of hiring Hostess for our wedding by ocean.The beautiful presentation at our tasting, my now husband took over and chose the entire menu. We had a reception style event, with just appetizers and tapas style plates.I’m an event planner by trade, with a background in art; presentation is a big part of my job. They listened to all my request and follow through the very detailed list I gave for the event.Guest raved about how the stations looked and how delicious the food was. Plus the staff was super friendly and attentive.Our wedding was at a historic venue, with no kitchen and they made the entire evening flawless.The process of working with them was easy, from payments to invoices. Please take in consideration it’s a small business, emails are not answered right away, they are just very busy. I learned how to be patience but I was always given an answer.Thanks for making our June ocean side wedding a spectacular one.

I wanted to rate Hostess 5 stars for our wedding, and for the food and day of appearance and help with rentals I still will! Everything was so tasty and beautifully displayed and my guests are still RAVING about the donut wall. Everything at cocktail hour was fabulous and the variety of food and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. There was so much good work done and we really appreciate it! It takes a lot to pull off an event like this and they totally delivered there- our guests never had an inkling about anything below.On billing and organization I would give 2.5. There was a lot of confusion and we needed to keep a really close eye on how much we had already paid and on changes that were made to our invoices , both in quantity of food and rentals (but this gets really tricky and confusing when trying to match to a fluctuating guest list!) There was a time where the amount recorded as paid was off by $1k and the amount of food went up without being discussed, had we not checked and just paid it that would have been bad! More communication can help this.And finally day of wedding, there was a mixup with tips and payment and the manager actually approached the mother of the bride and asked for more money than what she was given for tips in the middle of the reception. This was also after being given money by the family of the groom and after being told by the coordinator that the mixup would be taken care of later. It put a bad taste in our mouths, as the mother of the bride was not at all involved in this payment and it put a LOT of stress on us as a couple on the night of our wedding. We wished they would have waited until after to settle up as many of our other vendors did and let us enjoy our night.Tips are intended to be as appreciation of a job well done and if expected should just be included in the bill and communicated more clearly. (Note there was a 5% service fee included) We considered this to be very unprofessional behavior and an apology was given as a response the night of after the bride (and others) brought it up directly, but then never addressed after the fact. I cannot for this reason wholeheartedly recommend Hostess.

They totally stepped up when my daughter was left hanging 3 weeks prior to her wedding.They were amazing, showed up on time and were beyond professional, also cleaned up and took trash with them. (Since we had a private venue we had to remove trash)The food was amazing! I'm so grateful they were able to accommodate my daughter and her bride, with their particular style of foodThank you from the bottom of my ❤You were a part of why my girlz day was so special

Tina, Donna, and Visnja at Hostess Catering were an incredibly helpful and integral part of our wedding in May 2021, and we strongly recommend them to anyone looking to have beautiful, delicious, well-priced food at their wedding. We had to reschedule our wedding several times, and Hostess was able to accommodate us every step of the way. They took a huge amount of stress out of what could have been a very stressful process, and were adaptable to our frequently changing plans. At the last minute, we were able to have many more guests than initially expected. The team at Hostess didn't blink, and put together a perfect combination of hors d'oeuvres, charcuterie, and a delicious dinner menu. All of our guests commented on how much they loved the food. The Hostess team was also incredibly understanding of the various coronavirus restrictions, and we felt so lucky to have a safe gathering of our family and friends. They were a pleasure to work with and were so helpful in helping us to plan a really special day.

We hired Hostess Catering to help us with a really complex fundraising gala - three cocktail style parties all on the same night. As the party planner and organizer, I can't say enough good things about Donna and Visjna!! They made everything from dropoff, to service, to pickup run so smoothly and stress free. They were able to accomodate last minute changes from scaling down the number of parties due to COVID and scaling up the numbers of guests. The food was amazing, and we received such great feedback about it from guests. I 100% recommend Hostess for your next catering event!

Visnja and Donna were the caterers at a recent “Winter Wonderland” themed-wedding in Boxborough, MA where I was a vendor. For dinner, I had the ravioli and meatballs, and I have to say it was some of the best I’ve ever had. In addition, they were very pleasant and professional when I interacted with them. I’d certainly recommend Visnja and Donna of Hostess Catering for your special event.

We would highly encourage anyone that has a special event to work with Hostess!!!! We were over the moon with the quality of food and service for the price. We are one of the couples who had to postpone their previous weddings plans due to Covid and plan a last minute backyard ceremony. Even though we were planning it from another state and on a tight time line, Donna was so warm, accommodating, responsive and informative. We came up to the Boston area last minute to do a tasting and even with two weddings that day, they made sure we got to try everything we wanted with a neat care package. The day of the wedding was seamless. Our guests raved about the food. The menu descriptions undersold the high quality. Even the salad was seasonal and delicious. We had vegans, pescatarians, gluten free and carnivorous guests whom we were easily able to accommodate. The staff was so kind. It made our day so much more special and easy. They left the kitchen spotless and I can't wait to eat the leftovers for dinner tonight. We would absolutely hire them for any other events in the future. Thanks Hostess!!!

I use these caterers for whenever I can for my Event Production Business. We have flown their head chefs overseas to cater for our celebrity weddings we plan and any major Music festivals or Films we production manage. Their food is Fine dining mixed with mums best and we always tip them as they are priced so reasonably. They are professional mixed with easy going and take the stress of feeding my wonderful clients a meal they don't forget. We NEVER have to worry if they are catering our gigs. We book them for our biggest productions events.I can't gush enough, I have dealt with nightmares until I met this crew! Book them and don't worry anymore.Lady Diana Conrad
