My husband and I went to Il Ponte in Woburn for the first time tonight. Let’s just say it will not be the last. From the moment we walked in right up until we walked out the door it was an incredible experience. We both had cocktails: a Cabernet and falling for you and both were amazing. The bread/focaccia with garlic and oil was a fantastic start to the meal. We got the octopus and a bruschetta to start and they were flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband had the braised short rib over saffron risotto and he said it was delicious and fork tender. He said the flavor was like nothing he’s ever had and the saffron risotto was incredible and cooked perfectly. I got the special which was a crusted swordfish with asparagus risotto and it was, hands down, the best swordfish I have ever eaten. It was crusted so lightly and the swordfish was cooked to perfection. The portion was so big that I took half home. We don’t usually order dessert but when the server said “pistachio gelato” they reeled me in. My husband got bomboloni and couldn’t stop making all the faces and sounds…it was to die for. Before we finished the owner was making rounds at the tables thanking everyone and making sure we enjoyed our meals. I would give Il Ponte a 20/10 rating. We will absolutely be back again. If you get the opportunity….do not sleep on Il Ponte.
Food was delish, friendly staff and the chef came out to check up on each table.

No mention of a time limit was given to me when I made my reservation. An hour and fifteen minutes into my friend and I sitting we were told by our server we had fifteen minutes to finish before his next table came in. We had literally just started our $30 pasta entrée dishes. My friend had barely made a dent in her dish. We were rushed and I was not pleased. I told the server we should be told of this time limit when making a reservation, and he said something to the effect of how it is a small restaurant and it should be assumed there is time limit on the table. Which I don't agree with. The food was good, but being rushed and brushed off for the price was a huge turnoff.
Best italian food- ever. Tried this place on a whim on a wednesday night and it was bumping which I knew was a good sign. The food was spectacular like unbelievably good. But even more so- the service is what really stuck out to my husband and I. Jeff is the best. We are coming back not only for the food but also because Jeff's service was the best service we've had in a long time.

If you haven't tried IL.Ponte in Woburn, you are missing out. I have been there twice now and I hope to return for another family celebration. The food is the best I have had since my visits to Northern Italy while visiting family. It's worth the visit and parking is easier than most local towns. The service and staff are professional. I can't wait to return.

This place was amazing. The best food (eg,. Steak, tuna steak, green pea pasta with prosciutto, and best drinks ever. Also the service usually makes or breaks my experience. And Celica, our waitress, was AMAZING and awesome!, such a sweetheart. Staff members like her make you want to come back, they make you feel welcomed and the food being 10/10 is also another factor to come here.

Absolutely outstanding Italian restaurant with a warm, inviting atmosphere and dishes that burst with flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive — a big shout-out to the chef for an unforgettable dining experience. Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to, and a place I’d happily return to again and again.

Il Ponte is simply a labor of love and you feel it from the moment you walk in. Chef Beni and his wife Hortenca have poured decades of passion into this place, and it shows. The bread basket alone, a mix of soft focaccia and crusty breads, is worth the visit, especially with their fragrant olive oil and garlic dip.
We started with the octopus appetizer, perfectly tender with a lovely char from the wood-fired oven, served with crisp potatoes, garlic aioli, and a bright, zesty salsa verde. It was the perfect beginning to the evening.
Every pasta tastes like it was made just hours ago, as good as anything you would find in Italy. The Tortellini alla Norcina, rich in a creamy truffle sauce with savory sausage, was unforgettable. The Veal alla Petroniana, pan-fried with truffle, prosciutto, and Parmigiano, was tender and full of flavor.
Dessert is not to be missed. The Pistachio Honey Mousse is a dream, with airy semifreddo, berry gelato, crème anglaise, and the crunch of house-made cookies all coming together beautifully.
The warm, elegant atmosphere, the open kitchen, and the friendly energy make you feel like you’re part of something special. Il Ponte is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience you’ll want to repeat again and again.

From the moment we stepped inside Il Ponte, we were greeted with a warmth that instantly made us feel at home. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell this is more than just a job for them, it’s a craft.
The menu is full of tempting choices and every dish we tried was outstanding. The freshly baked bread with olive oil was the perfect start, followed by an appetizer of tender octopus with potatoes and a bright, flavorful sauce that made each bite exciting. For the main course, the pasta was silky and full of depth, while the veal was perfectly cooked, delicate, and rich in flavor.
Dessert was a highlight. The pistachio mousse was light yet indulgent, paired beautifully with berry gelato and a touch of sweetness that left us smiling until the very last spoonful.
The whole experience was enhanced by the cozy atmosphere, the gentle hum of conversation, and the charm of an open kitchen. It’s the kind of place where the food, the people, and the setting all come together to create a memorable evening.
