Very bad. We have ordered pistachio ice cream. It was like chemicals and oily and nothing like pistachio flavor except some pistachios mixed in the ice cream. I usually love ice creams, but this is the first time I hated an ice cream. After looking at reviews we thought of trying but understood that not to trust reviews.

Got a watermelon slush and almond joy ice cream. Both of which were delicious. Staff was attentive and offered our dog water since it was hot, humid and no air movement outside. Line moved at average speed with about a dozen customers waiting. Reasonably priced for the amount. Much needed for the unexpected June heat wave. No seating around to enjoy. You have to walk across the street and get back in your car

Cabot's is my benchmark, and this place is decent, Cabot's of Newton maintains its primacy!

Ordered the brownie supreme which I thought would come with what was listed on the menu. Received a pile of plain vanilla ice cream with little to no toppings. Says comes with 2 brownies on the menu yet this had 0. $12 and it was the worst ice cream I’ve ever had.

Originally would’ve given 5 stars even though once I ordered a sundae and asked for PB sauce on top of hot fudge—and didn’t get the hot fudge. Didn’t notice until driving off so I let it go.

But minimal stars after I went back again tonight and my child wanted a slush. It’s on the menu and we’ve ordered it before. Got the to window and the cashier says no slushees in the winter (it’s Nov, so ok). So I say ok we will do our “go to” of vanilla cone with cherry dip. No cherry dip.

Um ok. All of that is fine. Restaurants run out of stuff, change menus all the time. ****but can you communicate that??****

How hard is it to throw a ‘post it’ up covering the cherry dip on the menu or throw a sign up “no slushies after XYZ date.”

Customers now have to ask for basic communication?

This place has the best ice cream. On top of it, their customer service is exceptional. I have only ordered through GrubHub (and I order frequently). Tonight I placed an order and they were out of one of the flavors. They weren’t able to reach me so they sent me extra ice cream and a $10 gift card. I appreciate them going above and beyond instead of just canceling the order all together.

Service on a super hot day was slow. One guy was handling the front counter - he was moving fast doing his best! There were 3 people inside the shop handling to-go orders. The wait in the afternoon sun with a group of kiddos was extreme.

Also, the soft serve vanilla I had didn’t seem fresh. I prefer McDonalds flavor and quality to what was served at Nanabette’s. Will not be back.

Pretty good food, accessible place. It’s kinda crowded in the night but it’s still good!
