At noon, my grandma ordered a delicious nine-story beef dish at Peppercorn House. Even her 18-month-old grandson loved it. Before leaving the restaurant, she specially ordered this dish to take home for her grandson.

If you want standard American Chinese food then order off the lunch special menu. If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu.They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.

POSITIVE: Good hot and sour soup. Good lunch options (food quantity and price). NEGATIVE: 1 person took our order, another person delivered the food to our table. No one came to check if everything was ok, or offer water refill. Kung Pao chicken was more sweet than spicy. Would not order again. Crab rangoon was overcooked and hard to eat. Went during a Saturday lunchtime. Very few customers until close to end of lunch special time. On-street parking, so limited by time of day and other business customers on the same street. It's a little "hole in the wall" place; easy to miss. In all fairness, I would try it once more to see if other dishes are better.
