Easily the worst pizza I’ve had. Toppings were tasteless somehow, ricotta burnt. Looks like I changed a transmission after two slices from how burnt the bottom was. I only give it 3 stars because I could tell it was pizza, and not a spare tire from the back of a Lincoln town car. Even the regular cheese pie was terrible, awful smell as well as soon as you walk in the door from all the pizza they burnt. Kitchen forgot hot honey until the host reminded them. Just sad for a pizza place

When there Sunday for first time. I was able to park in the one handicap parking spot they have. I said lucky me. I got out of the car and had to walk by 12 cars that were ere closer to the front door. I wondered. Why wouldn’t they put the handicap space closest to the door?

I call the manager later that day. I was put on hold and still waiting for call back.

Their poss is good but they don’t seem to care about the handicap. I understand I use to be like them.
Sally s you do a good business. Put the handicap spots near the door s as be put in more than one. Most parking lots have 10. 12 or more!!

I have eaten from Sally's a few times and I must say the pizza is truly fantastic. I have grew up eating from the New Haven location, and was excited they were opening up here. The reason for the mid review, and poor service stars is actually due to the take out service.

Their take out service is very poorly run and the primary reason we don't get food from them anymore. The last two times we ordered pizzas (one via online ordering, one via phone ordering) the wait for the pizza was extreme. We were told 30 minutes, and it was actually 1 hour. The next time we were told 40 minutes, and it turned out to be 1 hour 10 minutes. I don't know if they just don't have the staff during lunch, or what the situation is. When you have an hour for lunch, and can't get the pizza until it is at least half used up, it makes eating from here impossible, which is a shame because as I said, the pizza is truly fantastic.

In summary: if you want a place to go eat, this is a great place to go and highly recommended. If you want timely takeout during lunch, i would look elsewhere.

Never again! Brussel sprouts appetizer was average, at best. Chopped salad was completely overdressed as well as listed checkpeas as an ingredient. Literally 6 chickpeas in the entire salad. Ordered a white pie - ridiculous amount of oregano that totally overpowered any flavor of the pizza. Waited 20 minutes for the chicken Parm sandwich only to receive a meatball sandwich. Awful and OVERPRICED.

Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. Sally’s Apizza @ Fairfield deserves a 5 star rating for making our event the success it was. Thanks so much

The only negative about these places are the prices. SO expensive for pizza, but can’t deny how good it is. We went to the New Haven location and saw they had one in Woburn and that’s where we were staying. I got the wedge salad and it was probably one of the best salads I have had in a while. That dressing…I will dream about!

I have multiple allergies, dairy and gluten. The sous chef came out to my table, sat with me, and helped craft me a meal that would accommodate my allergies. He was so helpful, informative, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I had the wings and chopped salad with baked shrimp on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection!

We arrived for our 6:30 reservation at 6:20 and waited an additional 45 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we were told that the pizza kitchen was backed up and it was taking an hour for pizza to be served after ordering . We decided to wait and order 2 pizzas . After and hour plus one pizza arrived . We waited an additional 45 minutes and decided to cancel the order after being told that it was on It's way many times. I asked to have the 2nd pizza taken off the bill and miraculously it appeared. The pizza is delicious. Our server was great very apologetic. The issue is that Sally needs to decide if they are going to focus on being a full service pizza restaurant or a take out Pizza shop. They were clearly failing at both last night. I would suggest that when they have an hour back up in the pizza kitchen they put a temp hold on take out and don't take new take out orders until they are caught up for both call in and online. As far as advanced online orders they should limit those as well. Also they had a DJ who was playing the music way to loud you couldn't even carry on a conversation. Needless to say to say pizza is delicious but not worth the 3 hours. I paid $127.00 for a salad 3 drinks and 2 small pizzas.

Food is excellent, but the wait for pizza is too long. Please try to figure something out, perhaps with the ovens or spacing needed to accommodate more pizzas and patrons either eating in or take out. Could be a little less noisy too.

Good food that took forever to arrive. Kitchen priotized take out orders at the expense of the dining room. Took over one hour to get a pizza. This is unacceptable. Was not informed of the delay until I was already sitting there for 45 minutes.
