A complete rip off. I grew up on original Sally’s in New Haven. The wait time for this location was almost 2 hours. They charge $25 for a medium pizza, $30 for a large. The pizza I eventually got was not Sally’s New Haven Apizza, it was some premade cracker dough burnt to a crisp. I only got my food because I asked for it at the pizza counter after getting sick of waiting. They proceeded to make and cook my pizza infront of me in 10 minutes. They agreed it’s not the same pizza, I don’t know what private equity firm purchased the rights for the Sally’s, I do know they are charging over $30 for a large pizza that sucks,This location, if it manages to exist long enough will ruin the Original Sally’s Apizza reputation.What an awful awful product and experience.If the people making the pizza agree it’s not good then this is just a huge failure in management 101.It isn’t Sally’s, don’t go out of your way for this place like I did. It’s as heavy and generic as your local House of Pizza. I should have known it was a money grab when the best suggested wine on the menu was the “Sally’s” house red. You’ll feel like a victim by the time you leave for the price you paid. If you have ever had the original location this experience will pain you. They ask for good reviews in exchange for coupons. Sort your reviews by newest.I’m appalled. Stay away.The original founders of Sally’s are rolling in their graves. The staff doesn’t want to be there serving what they’re serving. This brand which shouldn’t have been a brand in the first place is dead on arrival.

Amazing staff and food. I picked up a pizza and accidentally dropped it while I was putting it in my car. I did not ask for a free pizza, but the staff at the takeout area told me they’d make me another pizza free of charge. Awesome group!!

We can't compare it to the original location because we've never gone there but the pizza was just OK. We got one light charred pizza ($16.47 after online discount ordering) and one regular charred. The dough is chewy for those who like that. We didn't like the regular charred, too burnt. FYI if you get the garden special pie, it doesn't come with tomato sauce on it. I learned that when I went to pick them up and the counter guy told me. I appreciate him checking with me first before it was even made. Love the packets of parmesan and oregano to go.

Leaving a family function, heading back West.But on 4/20 this Sally’s is closed because of oven maintenance so there is no dinner tonight. This was going to be our first time trying this pizza. Now we will not be trying it and moving to the next pizza joint. Sometimes you only get 1 chance.

I ordered a 12 inch pizza that they recommended and looked good and I got a burnt pizza. That tastes awful
