We love everything about Sam Walker's except for the noise level. We literally could not have a conversation it was so loud!

As usual, great food and service. Noise level on Friday evening was excessive and made normal table conversation challenging at times. We'll keep coming back but wish the tv/music volume could come down a notch

Too loud! Not a good place to sit and visit. That's too bad because the drinks are great and the food outstanding. Find a way to quiet it down in side.

It's basically just a sports bar so their menu isn't too loaded with a variety of entrees. I ordered the Burger Royale, it was pretty good, but when I got it it stood about 4-5 inches tall, the burger was about the thickness of a puck, add everything else and you're left to wonder, how am I supposed to fit this in my face? So with some effort I squished it with my hand, unfortunately it squeezed all the BBQ sauce and burger juice out. Some might like it but I thought the bacon in the burger was overcooked as i kept biting down on what felt like rocks, even still it was a decent burger and a jaw opening experience. Didn't care for the fries very much. Turned out to be an expensive evening, just over $180 for 4 people, 3 sodas, two beers, two appetizers, one dessert.
Our waitress (Julie) was exceptional, we would be glad to have her again. The atmosphere was great, big TV's placed for all to see. The place was crowded.

Frankly, this is The Spot. The parking lot is crowded, the noise level in the restaurant on a Saturday night is at *almost* intolerable levels, and the food kept my table quiet the entire night.

Our sever was Cameron, very attentive and definitely sold us on a few items we werent quite sure of. My table started the evening off at the bar, where we enjoyed a margarita and the charity 'Late Check-Out' drink. A great twist on a Moscow Mule with ginger liquer, cranberry syrup garnished with a dried blood-orange slice that I, frankly, had four of. My table shared the El Jefe nachos, which were perfect. The other party in my duo remarked several times on how good the avacado-lime crema was. It was really good. The nachos didn't live up to the 'every chip is equal' dream, but they were fun to eat and the pork had a lovely smoked flavor. I had the Braised Short-Rib large plate, it came with asparagus and bleu cheese whipped potatoes, topped with fried onions. The majority of our meal was spent silently nodding at each other like 'Yeah, this *is* however many dollars worth of good and then some that we will end up spending here'. The potatoes had a hint of bleu cheese throughout, but had tasty little pockets of bleu cheese that I will think about for weeks. My friend got the brisket grilled cheese with au jus and it was like eating a new and exciting version of a French dip that is, unlike its weird uncle, invited to the party. The truffle fries were good, and I was enjoying my drinks enough that it didn't matter that they didnt taste like truffle.
The Smores Skillet Cookie for two is insane, and I don't think I'll ever recover from it. Maybe could use a slightly bigger scoop of ice cream, but eating the rest of the cookie on it's own without ice cream accompaniment isn't a bad thing.

10/10, fully deserving of a full-to-bursting parking lot on a Saturday night.

The food was bar food and mediocre at best. But the check in process was what started the entire debacle. We were met at the door with a host coming back to the stand explaining how she hated a patron that was at the restaurant and was using profanities as descriptors as it would seem her vocabulary is limited. I figured this kind of language was saved for employees who are not forward facing in their role. We were also told that there was “no wait” however when we arrived (5min after being told no wait) there was all of a sudden a 35 min wait? I was confused as there were numerous open tables available. I can get cheap bar food a lot closer to home next time.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Four of us went last night. Snowy and cold outside and so festive and “Christmasy” inside. This place was decked out to the nines, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED for Christmas. Food was fabulous, one of our party is gluten free and she found many options. Too bad they don’t dedicate their French fries to gluten free. Small issue! You’ll find lots to love on the menu. Service is top notch, great staff. Highly recommend! I’ll be back.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options! Lots to chose from

Three times we have tried to go here and called ahead for a table for two. “ oh yea we can 100% fit you in”, get there with tables open “oh it’s going to be a 45 minute wait”. Homie, get your front desk strained out.
