This was out first time at Sam's and we will definitely return. We had a fantastic meal; we started the meal with a bowl of mussels in the spicy red broth (not too spicy) and asked for extra bread to sop up the sauce - it was yummy! For entrees, we had the short rib with the gnocchi and Sam's veal special. Both were delicious but the short rib was really flavorful and the gnocchi super light. We felt the value for what we ordered was excellent. Service was excellent, our waiter Diogo was super attentive. Comfortable environment.
This was our first time at Sam's, and we were celebrating my sons 26 th birthday 🎂 He really wanted Osso Buco, which is how we ended up there. We started with calamari and arancini, both of which were cooked perfectly and delicious. My son got his osso buco, which he said was the best meat he had ever had. I had frutti di mare which was over a perfectly cooked linguine. All of the seafood was perfect and the sauce was amazing! My other son had the lobster ravioli, which was in a cream sauce. He liked it, but was a little disappointed that he couldn't taste the lobster and that there was no lobster in the sauce. We also had the incredible home made focaccia and oil. For dessert the birthday man had tiramisu ( on the house) and my other son had limoncello cake. Both were a hit! I would highly recommend that anyone who wants a delicious Italian meal check out Sam's. 5 stars !
Absolutely amazing! I had the lobster risotto, tasted like I was back in Italy. Very authentic!
Food was delicious and decent size. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Nice quiet atmosphere. We had made a 5:30 reservation and were seated right away. I had the chicken marsala and my wife had Sam''s veal special. Both were very flavorful. We shared a Caesar salad as an appetizer which was plenty for two people to share. They give you complimentary foccaccia bread with oil for dipping. We ended with a tiramisu that was quite yummy. Would definitely come back.
Sam's is our favorite restaurant in the area. Food is always excellent and the ambience and service are top notch too.
Not only is the food amazing, the service goes above and beyond. When i get take out, the front desk is amazing, even when i am dressed like Adam Sandler. The service when you dine in has always been a 10 out of ten. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is a must stop.

Four of us went to dinner here last night and had an amazing meal. Service was wonderful, Renata was attentive and so nice! Our appetizers were great (calamari, arancini, & caprese) and everyone loved their meals (lobster rav, frutta di mare, bolognese tortellini, and short rib). I had the lobster ravioli and it came with 2 scallops too, best I’ve ever had! Huge portions, seafood was plentiful, very reasonable prices. Very nicely decorated for the holidays too! Thanks for a wonderful evening, we will be back!
Ps- the mocha cappuccino was SO good, great cap off to our delicious meals!

Our waiter, Diogo, was friendly, attentive and obliging. The food was excellent. I had veal saltimbocca and would order it again if I went there another time. However, I'd want to try other menu items, all of which looked good. Adequate wine selection at reasonable prices, though a larger selection would have been better.
Wow What a wonderful little North End style restaurant in Woburn Food was amazing - service incredible (thank you Renata) Can't wait to go back
Located on Main Street in Woburn, MA Sam's is a small, cozy restaurant with nice ambiance and friendly service. We started out with the calamari appetizer. You never know what you'll get when ordering calamari. This one was lightly battered, very tender and enough for two to share. My girlfriend and I both love short ribs and decided to try their boneless short rib dish. Served in a red wine sauce with ricotta gnocchi it was superb. Sam, the owner is also the head chef and oversees all the food preparation. Sam takes great pride in the food he serves to his customers and it shows. We highly recommend giving Sam's Kitchen a try. We'll be returning soon to try something else on the menu.
Amazing food, excellent staff (attentive but not obtrusive), everything we ordered was delicious. Will be returning soon.
As an Italian, I find the food to be subpar. It is either overcooked, undercooked, or oversalted. The service is very slow, considering the small size of the restaurant. There are better options out there for Italian cuisine.
