Very clean and spacious place! We came for lunch with kids. Great vibe for a drink and a few light raw bar orders. The deluxe sampler is huge and more than enough for four adults (two if you plan to skip entree and go with appetizers only). The chicken finger from the kids menu is surprisingly delicious. Very generous size, chicken breast is juicy and fresh. It comes with fries too so don’t double order the side! Could have been a five star if we were reminded of the size so we didn’t order excessively. The sampler also takes most of the space on the table so we were constantly shifting / trying to combine plates.

Food was a bit too buttery for our liking but otherwise great. Our server Debbie was absolutely lovely.

My friend and I have dined at Surf twice for lunch, and our experiences were a real tale of two visits.

Our first visit was truly a 5-star experience all around. The food and service were exceptional, and we left looking forward to a return visit. The server was attentive, kind, and proactive about our needs (especially with the consideration that my friend uses a power wheelchair), which made for a wonderful dining experience.

Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. The service was a 3 out of 5, as our server seemed to avoid us and only appeared when absolutely necessary. The food, which had been so great the first time, was a letdown, earning a 2 out of 5. I ordered the Korean BBQ Scallops, which arrived in a bowl with about a half-inch of what tasted like a low-quality, bottled BBQ sauce. The scallops and potatoes were swimming in it, and I had to fish them out onto a separate plate to eat. My friend's Fried Seafood Platter was also subpar. While the fried scallops were good, the haddock was mediocre and left an unpleasant aftertaste. The fried clams were undercooked, gummy, and wet.

For an upscale restaurant, you expect consistency in quality, not a hit-or-miss experience. The stark difference between our two visits suggests a lack of consistency that is hard to overlook.

On a positive note, Surf is very wheelchair accessible, which is a huge plus. Both entrances are easy to navigate, and the restaurant is spacious. I would give the accessibility a 4 out of 5. The women's accessible restroom stall is a nice room with a sink and easy access. In the men's room, however, the accessible stall is a bit tricky to get to, located right behind the entrance door. Once you're in, the stall itself is well-designed.

Given the significant drop in food quality from our first to second visit, it's unlikely we will return. It’s a shame, because our initial experience showed what a great restaurant Surf could be.

Great food, great service. We had a company dinner here and it was a blast. The only problem is the parking.

My first time here, the wait staff are professional. The wait staff wasn’t overbearing and constantly checking in. The food was extremely delicious. I highly recommend this location. The wait staff recommended great adult drinks and menu options. I would come here again.

I finally made it to Surf in Woburn after visiting Surf in Nashua a few months ago. The Woburn location is bigger and has patio seating, we sat in the covered section and the food and service were great. I ordered the lobster roll and coleslaw, both GF/DF and it was delicious! Usually, a lobster roll would come with coleslaw AND fries, but at Surf you had to pick one, which I thought was odd. I chose coleslaw which fit my vibe for that day. I would have been happier if I got both though!

Surf in Woburn was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, with a coastal-chic vibe that’s both inviting and upscale. Our bartender was truly a gem, warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the experience feel personal and elevated, and the lemon drop martini was perfection, the right balance of sweet and tart, ice-cold, and dangerously easy to sip.

We started with the scallop appetizer, and it was honestly to die for. Perfectly seared with a gorgeous caramelized crust and melt-in-your-mouth center, it set the tone for a stellar meal. The king crab was rich, buttery, and beyond satisfying, though we could have easily taken down two more pounds without hesitation. It was that good.

Rounding out the meal, the dragon sushi roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It had just the right amount of heat and sweetness, with textures that worked in perfect harmony. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and showcased top-quality ingredients.

Overall, Surf hit all the right notes, delicious food, spot-on cocktails, and service that made you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood or a night out with excellent drinks, Surf in Woburn is absolutely worth the visit.

My husband, son and I enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch at Surf. Our waiter was terrific - perfect combination of attentive but not hovering. We loved the crab cake - it was moist and deliciously filled with crab. The shrimp cocktail were huge and very fresh. We all had the lobster rolls - two traditional and one hot buttered. They were amazing. Just the right amount of mayo and celery and big chunks of lobster. It was a great way to spend my birthday!

Surf, you deliver a consistent and outstanding dining experience! The service both at the bar and our booth (Shaylin) were perfect. The Korean BBQ scallops are always amazing! Be sure to split a Surf salad...it's the best.

Service was excellent, food and sushi lots of choices and all very good. The Warm buttered Sushi and Korean BBQ scallops were fantastic. New additions to the menu that I'll be trying on my next visit
