The food is very good. The location is alright. But I saw a review on here based on the St Patrick's day 2024 ... I was also here on that day and I also witnessed all the kids running amuck. In & out the doors. Up and down the stairs. Parents nowhere to be found half the time. I know it wasn't the restaurants fault but they definitely should've said something.God forbid a waiter/waitress/hostess got ran into by one of the kids? That situation could've & should've been handled.

I have been to different locations and have been very pleased however today was a very different experience. We went in for lunch for st. Patricks day on the way into Boston. I have been trained in culinary arts and I was absolutely horrified.Coming from the upstairs were 6-10 children running around the restaurant. All varying in ages and some too little to be running around without at least another child. There were no parents in sight. They were running in and out of the building some barefoot. We left as fast as we could.It seemed that management didn't do anything about it this is a health code violation on different levels and quite honestly I would never return. The parents came down once to chase the children but then the children continued to run amok through the very busy restaurant. This is inappropriate behavior and the group should have been asked to leave.Very disappointed with this location.

Very clean, good food, good selection, great service, and good value. Overall was a good experience, but a bit too loud for Sunday brunch table conversation. Can't wait to come back in the summer when the doors are open to the outside seating.

I went to tavern in the square with my family for my grandmothers 80th birthday and the food and service was spectacular! The nachos were loaded and so tasty! Our server Jenna made it such a pleasant experience. She was so kind and friendly and such a joy. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back!

First time at this restaurant. Had an amazing dinner with my bridesmaids. Our waitress, Molly, was amazing! She helped make my night even more special. The food and drinks were spectacular! We will all be returning!
I met my daughter here .... Unfortunately we were sat against the garage doors - COLD!!! It's too cold!! We were chilly the entire time. We started with the mustard chicken wings - soooo good!! I had the short ribs with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The mashies were good - they were whipped smoothly and tasty. The broccoli was undercooked .... The short ribs were tender, but the sauce was a big no! There was too much and it was super salty and , well ... not good. I was sad bc it was $27!! Ugh! My daughter got the General Tso's chicken .... The serving was hearty. She said it was good as well as spicy. The service could've been better, but wasn't terrible. Maybe next time ...???

I am a very regular customer of the Lowell, Burlington and Woburn taverns, yesterday I went to lunch I wanted to try one of their new salads, the Thai chicken one, the truth is that I thought it was a good salad, the bad thing was that today I went to the same one again time 12:45 which is my snack time and my coworker ordered the same salad and hers came with some tortillas, pineapple and the chicken came covered in sauce and sesame seeds, yesterday my salad didn't have pineapple, it didn't have tortillas and the chicken had less than half the sauce. I was very disappointed when I saw this new salad since mine yesterday tasted exquisite, but my friend's today tasted more spectacular. I would like to know if there is an explanation for this? Since I feel cheated for not receiving the same dish or day from yesterday compared to today

I like the tavern in square in Woburn. The food and service are great. I enjoy the ambiance and the grandchildren love the chicken tenders. The only downside is parking can be a nightmare there.

Always an excellent meal and service at this local chain restaurant. Lots of choices for this gluten free members of our family. Unlike many other places, the gf rolls were wonderfully soft and tasty. Plus, the 3 gf people in our party got their meals delivered separately and marked gluten free. I will come back here again and again whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

WAS very excited to come try the Brunch here. I get out of work in the afternoon on the weekends so I was pleased to see the website listed they serve till 2:30pm! I came here after work with my girlfriend around 2:10 (took about 10 minutes to find parking) and get served the dinner menu. After asking for the brunch menu I get told they stop serving brunch at 2:00pm even though the door and website says they serve till 2:30pm. I showed the staff that website and door says 2:30pm and he develops an excuse about how i would have to walk through the door before 2:00pm to get the brunch menu and I have till 2:30pm to order... Why have the website and door list 2:30pm if it stops at 2:00pm? No thank you, not very pleased by the management here. Not very professional.
