The host/waitress was rude. We had 7:30pm reservations, came right on time and were told that she couldn’t find it in the system. Turns out she had given away our bar seat reservations to the couple before us because we supposedly hadn’t shown up and played it off as if this has happened before. Could tell she was lying as she had certain lying cues.

The host was super rude. The drinks were good. Food was alright
I would not say my experience is bad but it’s worser than that. Rudest service I have experienced. Firstly I was eating and she came and removed my dish. And Inspite of that we have tipped 10%. Then they come back again saying if there was anything wrong with service. Then goes back and puts on full volume on speakers and bright light where we were dining so that we cannot even stay there a moment. I guess the management needs to hire people who actually know what their job roles are and how to treat the customers. With this bullshit attitude they are not gonna help a good place like baldwin bar nor themselves. Utterly Dissappointed. Never visiting this place again.

Upstairs the atmosphere is 5 stars and I’m really knit picking here but downstairs in the dining rooms (not near the bar) it can be hard to hear your party due to the other patrons. This restaurant is amazing though, the food, the drinks and the staff are top notch. The building is a historical piece of art as well. Highly recommend the flip fantasia drink (upstairs) and the eggplant.
