Nice place to enjoy some excellent coffee and watch as they roast the next batch. A wide variety of beans and blends are available.

Oof second time here. First was ok! This time is last. Was a mess and coffee was terrible. Also they only were using disposable cups + lids + straws. Yuck, do not recommend

Great coffee, great service. They have the best coffee in Worcester, no question. I would come here every day if my wallet could handle it.

My ex-girlfriend put me on to Acoustic Java my sophomore year of college, and while that relationship didn't work out, I owe her my life (and GPA, and crippling caffeine addiction) for introducing me to this heaven-sent coffee shop. My personal favorites are the lavender latte (it sounds weird but it's incredible, I promise), the caramel latte (basic, I know, but it's so rich and flavorful), and for a quick bite, I absolutely slam back the avocado toast. I could go on and on about how great of a place it is to study, chat, enjoy live music, and just chill on any given day-- even if I sometimes have to run into my ex. It's worth it. I'm going to fall into a deep depression when I graduate, and won't be in the area anymore, but I'm enjoying it while I can.

If you’re a coffee lover, this is the place for you in Worcester! As someone, who was “spoiled for choice” during 14 years in Europe, I was delighted to discover Acoustic Java not far from Holy Cross College. During my first visit, I asked the barista so many questions about their coffees that he called over the manager, who gave me a full rundown of their many roasts and recommended that I try brewing their Barrel Aged Sumatra in my Moka pot. That coffee has become my all-time favorite and I’ve given as it a gift to many of my relatives. My mother volunteers at the Worcester Public Library, which sells Acoustic Java’s Booklover’s Blend, which I also recommend trying. The large, bright, and high-ceilinged backroom in the former manufacturing space is a nice spot to enjoy a book or peck away at your keyboard, especially on a sunny day. I noticed that a lot of reviewers talk about the food, the prices, and the service. I’ve never had a problem with any of those things. To mix metaphors, in a sea of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, I’ve found my oasis in the desert ;-)

This review is for Winter Solstice ground coffee. My son gave this to me as a gift. It does not disappoint. Strong, but super smooth. No bitterness. I love it.

I owe an updated review here. My past review had been negative but I welcomed to give Acoustic Java another chance and I'm glad I did. Their coffee remains consistent and they brew the best bean in town. Truly a hidden gem...literally. They're hidden in the back of Rotmans (old furniture store) and you'll never see it from the main road. I drink coffee on a regular basis and could probably consider myself an amateur coffee snob lol. Lately I have made a purchase for teas and my wife didn't like the selections I've chose so they were welcoming and honored an exchange. I just had to pay the difference which I was glad to. We had good company with us and so there's also ample seating in the next room--you can enter from the front of the building as you enter through the main entrance or go through the back. Cheers

Very good coffee. I really like that you can get a ceramic mug, not just a paper cup. I usually drink Americano black, it is really hard to hide bad coffee in a black Americano. Good news is the Acoustic beans had a great flavor. I'm going to grab a bag of the Espresso beans to brew at home. I'd recommend this spot if your looking for a cool place to hang out and slowly sip a coffee.

Really disappointing lately. This used to be my favorite coffee shop but lately has been straying further from what I loved about it. The removal of basically all food is super disappointing I loved the food here.I ordered a flat white and got a huge cup of milk, same with a macchiato.Having to order on the touch screen kiosk is slow and annoying and hard to find what I'm looking for. This used to feel like an intimate coffee shop with authentic espresso drinks but I feel like I should just go to Starbucks. Bring back what I loved.

This place keeps going downhill. I used to come all the time, the prices were cheap, the coffee was good, and so was the food. Loved Elliot who used to work there and ring us up and talk to us. She left, they replaced cashiers with a self serve kiosk, they removed the hot food, they made the sizes smaller and also upped the prices 50% overnight. I was told this was to be inline with Starbucks. The self serve kiosk is the straw that broke the camels back. The people who work there can’t even be bothered to ring you up. I’ll go down the road to the ironically named New Traditions where the prices are lower, and they still have cashiers. If I wanted an inhuman expensive experience I would go to Starbucks. The kicker is when they stopped selling food they were getting less money from me even if they raised the drink prices. Any reviews from more than a month ago are pretty much invalid these days.

Perhaps an odd thing to say about a coffee roaster…but their London Fog is absolutely delicious! Coffee always has too much caffeine for me, so I’m on the lookout for good tea, and they deliver.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Worcester. The coffee is always fresh roasted and love the flavors! Staff are friendly and my only compliant is the prices of bagged coffee is high but these days what isn't.
